I assure you, Admin , these were all voluntarily released into the public domain years ago, and are legal to link to here. Edison Male Quartet recorded for the Edison label during the 1890s and 1900s. The Edison label was founded by Thomas Edison, who was not a member of the group. Keep in mind, it was common for groups to be named after the record label in those days, such as Victor Military Band, Columbia Orchestra, Edison Concert Band, etc..... Below is a selection of recordings by the group. Sound quality varies considerably from "okay" to "awful". BTW, the group members, if anyone is interested, were Harry Macdonough, John Bieling, Samuel H. Dudley, William F. Hooley. "Good bye Dolly Gray" (1901), a big hit www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder5255"Annie Laurie" (1902?) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder2493"Kathleen Mavourneen" (1902?) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder4285"Breeze of the night" (1904) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder2735"When the Bees are in the Hive" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder3000"Grandfather's Clock" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder6671"Leaf by Leaf the Roses Fall" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder4455"I Wonder if You Miss Me" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder2843"Hard Times, Come Again No More" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder2874"When the Evening Breeze is Sighing Home, Sweet Home" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder2882"Silent Night" (1905) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder5161"Only a message from home sweet home" (1906) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder3044"A Flower from Home Sweet Home" (1907) www.library.ucsb.edu/OBJID/Cylinder3185
