Not a poll; just a comparison. This is a paraphrasing of a synopsis I read of 'Solaris' somewhere yesterday:
"A small group of explorer/scientists are driven near or past the point of insanity when they confront an alien atmosphere with its own apparent intelligence that reflects back their own thoughts and fears and ultimately creates indistinguishable copies of certain members of their group, raising questions as to the nature of identity and reality."
