Golly, gosh llanwydd .. it's wonderful knowing that you care enough to have read all of my posts and kept a tally of them so that you could survey what tone you felt that they conveyed. Do you keep an actual spreadsheet or just do a pencil account of what you find sarcastic vs. what you find non-sarcastic ? My little marshmallow fluff shadow, imo, you would not recognize sarcasm if it sat on you ! However, that is totally beside the point READING HISTORIES TELLS MORE THAN READING THE CONTINUAL (and rather creepy) STALKY RANTING OF A SQUIRRELY MINOR IRRITANT. As ever... Salzmankin addition to the new (to me) Poe's Law terminology. I found this bit of helpful info which also deals with the use of emojis: www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2013/05/how-to-tell-a-joke-on-the-internet/309293/I have been "taken to task" for my over-use of the little faces but they are just so dern cute. ! I am particularly fond of using  when being "a little  -ish " To me, the kidding is obvious but a cover letter might help for those who see "fun-between-friends" and just MUST jump in or their heads might  (Hypothetically, natch)
