Some fan successfully created his own video of this on YouTube, a long time ago, and it was incredible. Really? Yeah, is was on YouTube back in 2008. Superman travels into the past to the point when both missiles are launched...
He tries to alter the California missile's trajectory, so that it will follow a similar trajectory to that of the Hackensack missile...
As he tries to dispose of the California missile into space, it explodes, and it creates a shockwave, that still damages the dam where Jimmy is, and blows up the gas station where Lois is...
Superman then saves Jimmy as he did before...
Superman then goes after the Hackensack missile, and sends it out into space...
This video serves as a recap of the first film, for Donner's version of Superman II... And so the missile releases the villains from the Phantom Zone.
Superman then returns to Earth and finds Lois having trouble with her car, because it has run out of Gas.
After he flies off, the credits roll, similar to that of Superman I, for Superman II UPDATE: Hey Primemovermithrax Pejorative , I found the video. It is a six minute sequence made by a guy named Selutron, who was working on his own Ultimate Superman II Cut. " Why the post time travel? Lois’ line about having been through an earthquake doesn’t appear to make sense otherwise. If Supes travels back in time and stops the missiles then what is Lois talking about? What earthquake? What caused it? So the idea was to have some fun trying to come up with an explanation for that – one missile went off very quickly, the other a lot later. In Superman’s second go, he goes after the other one first but it still goes off and causes a small earthquake." You can find several more of his clips here: www.capedwonder.com/selutrons-superman-ii/

I had heard of Selutron somewhere. There is another guy doing a Hulk Superman fight--I dont know how many years he has bene doing it but the Superman looks like Christopher Reeve.
Hmm seems to me one could alter some footage to get that Superman vs robot fight I mentioned...

Yeah, Contrary to official "descriptions", and popular beliefs... Superman did not "Turn The World Backwards"... This comes from a lack of understanding how time travel should or would work.
As depicted in some time travel films, such as "The Time Machine" (2002), as the time traveler is making his journey, we see him watching an Analog clock. The hands on the clock are moving differently, than normal. As he goes into the future, the hands move faster....
Now, As he moves into the past, we see the hands moving backwards... Time has reversed.
In the movie, Superman is moving very fast, as noted by the light rings that form behind him. This is Superman travelling near or at the speed of light. According to scientists, as you approach the speed of light, time slows down... But, Superman continued to fly even faster and faster. Eventually he is going so fast, that he is flying faster than the speed of light... This should mean, that he is travelling BACKWARD through time.
And just like the hands on the analog clock... The Earth Stops, and then begins spinning backward, followed by images of events "reversing" themselves...
Sadly, this concept was not portrayed very well in the movie, and so it does look like Superman roped the Earth and tugged on it, even though that is not what happened...
But, I think we all believe that reversing the Earth's rotation wouldn't actually reverse time...
So what would the Earth be like if it rotated in the other direction?
Here's is an interesting article that explores that very theory...
