Don't remember it. Likely to forget it. Do you suffer from short term memory loss?

Yep, saw that. What a complete dumbass. Are you serious? Well yes he's a dumbass and makes crap movies, but here he's not. This is one time where he's pretty much spot on. Almost everything he said in this video rings true. Forget that he's Uwe Boll for a minute and actually listen to what he's saying. He's telling it how it is. You must be a MCU/Hollywood fan and are afraid to hear the truth.

But one of their decisions is to make as many MCU movies as possible, which goes against what you just said Most of the time, Hollywood’s decisions are questionable. But movies like the MCU, to me, are an exception. I’m a fan of superheroes, and they’re made to keep us superhero fans entertained. I can see the overabundance of them, don’t get me wrong, but again, us superhero fans don’t mind it because we love this stuff and just let it keep on coming. Also, I never knew it was ever shameful to be a fan of that kind of stuff. I never said they should make as many as possible, because that would be jumping the gun. I even have an issue with them being slightly too many, as much as I love them. They could skip a year or two if they wanted to. It wouldn’t make the fans happy, but it would have them a break. So there you go.

I could do without the language, it makes him sound pretty uneducated even though much of what he says rings true. I fear for the movie industry once we hit "peak superhero". The studios really have nothing else at this point. Disney is charging along with adaptions of their animated classics which seem to be doing well, so I suppose if they space those out it'll cover their losses once MCU superhero films lose steam. I'm still entirely against the Disney/20th Century Fox merger, I hope it gets shot down under SEC or court review. I don't berate folks who enjoy superhero films but the industry is relying on them to such a degree that once the casual fans have had enough the industry is going to be in big trouble. I personally don't watch those films and the past 15 years or so I've been viewing back catalog titles more and more because the current offerings are just not my taste. I completely agree with Boll regarding funding for films, I see Hollywood relying more and more on Chinese and Indian financial backing. In my opinion that is also stifling creativity because currently Chinese audiences seem to be enjoying films that have little artistic merit. Let's also not forget the 1MDB scandal in Malaysia. It brought down a sitting government in Malaysia. Incredible that DiCaprio didn't take more flack for that with regards to Wolf on Wall Street. Guess it's good that he turned over the Picasso painting he was gifted.
