during their original run in a movie theater full of people from that time period. What are some of them you would Love to go see. One's that maybe you were too young to go see or just missed. Choose up to 10 or so. I don't want long lists. Maybe say why?

Maybe a silent film like the Great Train Robbery to see if it is true that people freaked out when a gun was pointed at a screen.
Nosferatu
King Kong
A Laurel and Hardy comedy (to see how people laughed)
Snow White

Scream. I'd even settle for a rerelease.

For me it would also be "Psycho." The commentary by Stephen Rebello on the Blu-ray describes audience reactions throughout the movie. Rebello was there. It is where his love for the film began and he beautifully and hilariously relates how the first viewers of the brand new kind of film just went hysterical - screaming, talking out loud, yelling at the screen. An experience no other movie had ever given.
Rebello is the author of the book, "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho."

The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
I missed out due to college commitments and STILL haven't gotten round to watching it. Would have liked to experience for the first time on the big screen though.

It'd basically be the movies I really enjoy, but didn't get to see at the theatre (either because I wasn't around for them or I just decided not to go...but then later discovered them on TV/DVD and instantly loved them), such as the original Star Wars trilogy, Gladiator and The Ninth Gate.

King Kong and The Thief of Bagdad (the 33 and 40 versions respectively). Two of my favourites since I was a kid and I can only imagine how jaw-dropping such dazzling effects and sets must have seemed to audiences of the time.

Alien without knowing anything. I did see this movie in its original release in a packed theater, and what I remember distinctly to this day is how, when that little creature first emerged from John Hurt and skedaddled across the screen, just about everyone in the audience laughed hysterically.

terminator 1984 must have been a trip to go see. probably one of the greatest experiences watching one of the greatest movies ever unfold.
road warrior and thunderdome.
lethal weapon.
i'd love to sit all the way to the end of these movies and watch all the credits and just listen to the score play.
