"Yes" vote here. I'm still registered and active on IMDb. My "specialty" (if you could call it that) is entering and correcting, memorable quotes from movies and TV shows. I wrote the FAQs and most of the trivia for Speed Racer (1967) and Speed Racer (2008) 'Speed Racer' (1967) IS my third-favorite Japanese anime, preceded by #2 'Prince Planet' (1965) and #1 'Star Blazers' (1979) aka 'Space Battleship Yamato' (1974).

I still contribute goofs and such when I spot one that hasn't been mentioned. I used to contribute somewhat frequently to "goofs" but I started to feel a bit sheepish about doing that. I came to the realization that most "goofs" as reported on IMDb aren't significant enough to really make any difference to the plot, or a viewer's enjoyment of a film. So it started to seem like it was just being nit-picky.
It's fun to spot little glitches and point them out, but it does seem rather pointless, so I've pretty much stopped doing that.

NOTORIOUS EXAMPLE: the converse sneakers in that split second shot in the I WANT CANDY montage in MARIE ANTOINETTE with Kirsten dunst. IT MEANS [in case no one else could figure this out] THAT THIS IS A NOD TO THE FACT THAT MARIE WAS STILL A TEENAGER! it was INTENTIONAL and Sofia purposely put those in there. d u h.

Have you EVER seen/watch or heard of either 'Prince Planet' or 'Star Blazers'? They're NOT as well-known as 'Speed Racer'. 'Speed Racer' = Ch. 32 WFLD-TV, 'Star Blazer' = Ch. 9 WGN-TV and 'Prince Planet' = Ch. 44 WSNS-TV.

Yes. I first joined the IMDB boards back in 2007 and I wrote some posts on the movie boards and on boards for TV shows like ‘Alias’, ‘Medium’ and ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ but I become a moderator on another board and stopped posting on there ‘cause I couldn’t juggle between the two boards and I stopped writing on forums altogether for a number of years after I dealt with one disturbed person who had issues to say the least and caused a lot of problems. I returned to the IMDB Boards in 2015 with the name, ‘AlishaRulestheWorld’ which was taken from the song by Alisha’s Attic and I changed it a lot and had ‘AlishaIsAwesomeAndSexy’, AlishaIsAHotAussieChick’, ‘AlishaIsHotNKooky’, ‘AlishaIsBadAss’ among others before changing it to my real name and adding LovesBec.

Yes, I started in 2005 posting on The Passion of the Christ board which was the de facto Religion board at the time. It was also known as the Passion Pit or just the Pit. In 2007 the admins forced many of us to move to the official Religion board. I only occasionally posted on other boards. We're all refugees here from a lost world.

Okay. I will satisfy your curiosity, but only because you have a kitty as an avatar. I voted yes. I am still a member, and I use it often. I use it half the time for information, and half the time for entertainment.

Member for 13 years and counting. I still update my animation ratings regularly. I miss the individual movie boards, it was a big part of my fight for animation respect exposing films like the Lego Movie and Zootopia as the overrated messes they are.
