Inglourious Basterds WALL-E The Royal Tenenbaums There Will be Blood The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Is this cheating? "You Can Count On Me" It is the only movie in the past 18 years that I really loved. Of course, there has been so much that I haven't seen...

"You Can Count On Me" It is the only movie in the past 18 years that I really loved. Of course, there has been so much that I haven't seen... Couldn't really care less for this decade. Mostly horror that I recall the most:
CHICAGO-02' HOUSE OF WAX-05' HOSTEL-05' HOSTEL II-07' HALLOWEEN II-09'
Couldn't really care less for this decade.
I know. It was a very blah decade for movies.

"You Can Count On Me" It is the only movie in the past 18 years that I really loved. Of course, there has been so much that I haven't seen... I saw "You Can Count on Me" at the theater and my main memory was finding Mark Ruffalo very bland and unappealing as an actor. While I saw him in other films in the interim, it wasn't until "Zodiac" that he totally won me over -- he was fantastic!!!!! I quite like him now.

The Departed - Masterclass in acting and editing. Love the parallels between Billy and Colin. Inglorious Basterds - Christoph Waltz and Brad Pitt are endlessly entertaining doing Tarantino shtick. Oldboy - Shows how revenge really can make a beast out of a man. Scott Pilgrim vs the World - Michael Cera's best role and a visually/hilariously stunning film. Wet Hot American Summer - Does for Jewish Summer Camps what Airplane! did for disaster films.
