I've only seen seven, so it'd be stupid for me to vote. But I'll rank them:
Ikiru Rashomon Seven Samurai Ran Throne of Blood The Hidden Fortress Yojimbo
But I like them all.

I'm just getting into his filmography right now, and so far I'm loving it. Ran is my clear favorite, followed by Ikiru and Seven Samurai. Yojimbo is also really good. Can't say I was the biggest fan of Rashomon, though. I'm very excited to see more, particularly Dreams, High and Low, and Throne of Blood.

Yojimbo is by far my favorite. It moves very fast and you can't look away. I don't understand why it is one of his less celebrated films. Ran is excellent, especially if you know the play it is based on, Shakepeare's King Lear. I like Rashomon almost as much but it gets a little confusing in places. And I hate to say this but I need to give The Seven Samurai another chance. Everybody loves it and there must be a reason for that. It has its obvious merits but it left me cold. For one thing it probably doesn't need to be as long as it is.
The only Kurosawa film I couldn't stand was The Hidden Fortress, which is one of his more respected films. It is known that the first Star Wars film was based on this. I only got through about the first half. It was the two Frick and Frack characters that ruined it for me. Too much comic relief and they are not even funny. George Lucas revived those characters as C3PO and R2D2.
