Your example also fails for aforementioned reasons. No it doesn't. Agree to disagree.

if anyone can get a hold of a roofie then, yes. and you do know that in order for us to be able to CITE sources/cases there have to be cases FILED AND REPORTED? its no good if no one reports it. It’s also no good to claim that it ever actually happens (since there is little or no evidence of it). ??? so if i get a roofie and take you out to a bar... slip you the roofie when you get up to use the loo... have you take me back to your place... you pass out/get all loopy... i do my thing and leave... you wake up feeling weird so you go to the er... they take a blood toxic screen... find the roofie remnants in your system and notify you of being roofied... you remember not me but where you were so the detective calls the bar and the bartender remembers us and gives the detective my name. the detective looks me up and calls me in for questioning the day after the incident and i come in and then am needed to take a gyno exam and not only does my body prove it has had vaginal intercourse within the past 24 hours, it also finds your sperm in the uterus/wherever. oh, I could have also slipped a condom on you and in a rush the get the hell out of there left it on you! ps. i went to college with a lovely gentleman [he really was a gentleman] and he was raped by a coed. so we have to blindly believe women but don't have to believe men? that's shit.

tpfkar Plea deals are a problem all accross the board. Don't know how much input the victim had into it or if the prosecutors think it couldn't have been all that bad. victim pleaPlea deals are a way of avoiding the inherent issues in both people's behavior in our society and the corrupt mechanism of the court system itself, and how hypocritical and criminal it is within. Trials can be costly and time consuming and if many people can't afford a top notch lawyer, this is also unfair in itself. I guess the prosecution is blind, and if they take rape of a female seriously, then why not the rape of a male by a female? There is no justice, when there is no equality. It's conditioning is only based on what the simpleton herd dictate and as if they genuinely care a man got raped by a woman. Plea bargains are generally prosecutor billy clubs that aren't really different from blackmail. And female rapes, as tiny a percentage as they likely are, should be treated the same as male rapes of the same nature, violence, etc. But the patriarchy is still pretty ingrained in a lot of people, including prosecutors and sometimes even victims. Was that supposedly to be a question? You can believe or disbelieve whomever you want. I’m sure you believe that some dude believes that he was raped. Doesn’t mean it actually happened though. People claim to have seen the Virgin Mary, or that Jesus spoke to them, or to have seen ghosts, or to have been abducted by aliens too. But claims are not evidence. Even in the few cases where a woman was said to have been “convicted” or rape, usually they were actually convicted of sexual assault or attempted rape, and there is little evidence of success. And even more telling is that the sentences they get are usually very disproportionate to the sentences men get when charged with similar crimes. No one has yet to address that.

So what exactly is the point of this thread? Why did you ask? I asked because I wanted to known other people’s opinion. But it’s not your opinion that I’m disagreeing with; it was the fact that your example failed.

Very good; you read the first sentence in my previous response. Now, go back and read the second sentence that answers ^this now unnecessary question.

Sounds like we are in agreement on this point.

I'm assuming Goz is the one "no" in the poll. Unless she finally looked up how the penis works.

Because it's impossible for women to rape men!" but doesn't want to actually come out and say so. But it's just a feeling. Maybe I'm wrong.

The fact of the matter is, in the few cases that anyone can find of an actual conviction of a woman for “rape” (of which I’ve only seen one), the sentence was 9 months. Completely disproportionate from the sentence males convicted of the same crime get. And no one has yet to address that.

Another weird assumption by some on the board is the notion of rape only being defined by the conviction of the accused.

That was the initial thing I wanted. The other purpose (obviously) is to spark a conversation (which is the point of this forum).
