Yazoo - Winter Kills (1982)
Just heard through the album Upstairs at Eric's (1982), and while a somewhat frustrating and, bit of a hit and miss album I really wished more of the album would focus on this kind of music like Winter Kills, instead of the often too cheapish and annoying "Depeche Mode" left overs which Vince Clarke seems to have brought with him.
However, it did contain some truly great synth pop classics, but for me, the one which stood out the most, was this dark and almost ghostlike beauty.
