I"m kind of out of the loop with some of the newer bands. But if they tour here that's how I hear about them. Especially if they open up for somebody I like. That's how I get turned on to a lot of bands also. Sunstorm does sound familiar. I have seen Joe Lynn Turner many times live in the last several years. I hope he's doing ok   I really would suggest you check out Melodickrock.com if you are interested in discovering new bands of that genre. I have lost count of how many new artists and bands I have learned about looking on there and many of them I wouldn't have read about on other mainstream music sites 'cause they don't cover all genres. Joe Lynn Turner has a very large catalogue of music when you look at how many albums he has released as a solo artist and lead vocalist of bands and he has released over 50 albums and one of his most recent releases was 'Rated X's' Self Titled album. Here is one of his singles as Rated X along with some Sunstorm songs. 
Substorm! Great stuff Deb. I think he played a song or two off that on the shows I saw him play. I dig the rated x thing also thanks for posting  I barely can keep up with the stuff I listen to already but I'll check it out lol |
