When they started boosting DiCaprio as a heart throb in TITANIC I was surprised because I had remembered him playing the retards and wimpy characters--and then years later he (with his latest Tarantino film) he is now a former TV star-presumably in the mold of James Garner, James Arness, or Clint Walker. If DiCaprio was around in the 60s he would have been the Chester character, not the lead.
