When you say things like that it makes you a crackpot Then I guess your definition of a crackpot is different than the dictionary's. What I've posted about her is true. She's a graduate of Stanford. So, if you graduate from Stanford you can't say anything ridiculous?

So, if you graduate from Stanford you can't say anything ridiculous? You probably have never heard of her until this thread, and now you're just making snap judgments based on your own bias.
She worked for CNN and won an Emmy for her work. I'm saying she is no crackpot and bases what she says on decades of investigative work and interviewing people in the military and others. She has gotten death threats and nearly killed for not keeping quiet about what she has uncovered.

Those are the the things, that really interest me... Today, it is so easy to dismiss claims of UFOs, because we have so much flying in the sky, and things orbiting the Earth... But prior to 1903, unless it was hot air balloon, there was nothing anything flying around. I suppose skeptics will just propose that people were breathing in swamp gas, and it made them see things... Yet, some of what ancient people's describe, seem pretty specific. They were not just glowing balls of light. They were apparently metallic objects, flying around very fast making thunder noises producing rocket thrust. These people didn't know what airplanes, jets, & rockets were... because they had not been invented yet! And yet, that is what they were describing... Way back then our vocabulary, and knowledge of technological concepts were limited. So... HOW THE HELL CAN ANYONE, HALLUCINATE A JET, WHEN THEY HAVE NOT BEEN INVENTED YET, AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A JET IS? You can't just simply dismiss these ancient reports... So what were these things, and who was flying them?

Credibility
Her gullibility and deceptive "reports" have caused even staunch Ufologists to give her extremely low marks for credibility.[5]
“”Someone once summed up Howe very well with two words: ' Media entrepreneur '. While having been a major player in the cattle mutilation mystery, Howe's credibility has gone way down hill as she sensationalizes everything from mundane animal deaths to promoting Brazilian UFO fraud Urandir Oliveira and the Aztec UFO Crash Hoax while selling alien books, videos and lectures. Howe dabbles in all things strange including Bigfoot, crop circles, alien abductions, and UFOs. Howe also sits on the board of advisors to the Roswell UFO Museum along with the likes of Don Schmitt. See Howe's site, which she actually charges a subscription for in order to access some stories. Also see Howe turning an explained animal death into an encounter with Bigfoot. A leap not even Bigfoot itself could make.
—UFO.watchdog.com[6]
“”The most hilarious web posting we have read in a very long time comes from Whitley Strieber's "Unknown Country", dated 9/30/05. Linda Moulton Howe is described as "our Dreamland science reporter". We ask — what, if any, are the scientific qualifications of this pleasant but extremely gullible lady?? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Unlike you, I have actually listened to what she has said and her explanations behind what she says. I have not taken her words at face value.
Of course, there are people who want to discredit her. She does her investigative reporting for a living. Why should she work for free? She's not forcing anyone to buy a subscription.
Whether what she says has some validity to it or not, I have no doubt that she believes it.

Apparently Werner Van Braun... the aerospace engineer and space architect credited with inventing the V-2 rocket for Nazi Germany and the Saturn V (Apollo) Rocket for the United States... told people that during WWII they got help with developing technology from Aliens.
Why would he say that, and diminish his achievements?
Even if you want to dismiss Linda Moulton Howe as an "Entrepreneur"... The mysteries she talks about still remains.
Ancient megalithic structures can't be replicated today with ancient tools... Who was flying Jet aircraft in ancient times?... Scientists can't explain GENUINE Crop Circles... And Who was mutilating Cattle?

I read that they are messages done in this way for all the people to see the message, not just the government.

There are actually two types of Crop Circles... The FAKE ones... There are people who go out with planks and make the circles. But they end up damaging the crops, which kills it... Since they have to be done overnight, they are usually fairly small and simple in design. The GENUINE ones. Usually fairly large and complex... But... The stalks are softened, bent over, and hardened. The crops continue to grow... Radiation has been known to have been found at these creations. Sound anomalies affect, audio recording equipment. Crops won't grow for years afterwords. Tornados and other natural forces might cause a simple circle... But some of these are so complex, with geometric patterns, they can only be done with some intelligence behind them. So if it isn't "College Pranksters"... Then who or what is making them?...

MCDemuth, college pranksters aren't smart enough to create a complex crop circle design in that short amount of time. If not ET's, then it's a mind game possibly perpetrated by the government.

I believe in UFOs, but I also believe that woman should be moved to the funny farm. It was her work that won her station a Peabody award. You obviously have no idea about her or her background. I suggest you watch this short interview and familiarize yourself with her before you run your mouth ignorantly:
Just because somebody won an award doesn't mean too much these days. And why should I watch another video by another lunatic with a silly idea? There's one born every minute, you know. It gets tiring after a little while.

Please find me this quote. I give you all of the internet, the Google search engine, and an eternity to find proof of von Braun even saying something close to this.

Please find me this quote. I give you all of the internet, the Google search engine, and an eternity to find proof of von Braun even saying something close to this. Ooh... I knew someone was going to challenge me for a source... LOL! OK... On the "Ancient Aliens" TV Show, Season 2, Episode 5: " Aliens And The Third Reich" A claim was made that... Hermann Oberth, A German physicist and engineer, who is considered one of the founding fathers of rocketry and astronautics... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermann_OberthOnce made this statement: " We were helped by people from other worlds" UFO researcher, Rt. Rev. Dr. Allen Greenfield, was also interviewed on the show... and He claimed he met with Wernher von Braun in 1970, at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, while examining declassified files... Allen Greenfield asked Wernher von Braun: " How did you develop that much technology so fast?" Allen Greenfield says: " Wernher von Braun looked down the rows of UFO Files and..." Wernher von Braun said: " We had help... from THEM..." Allen Greenfield asked: " Do you mean... ALIENS?" Wernher von Braun said: " Yeah, We had help... We all got help from THEM." I am not sure if Hermann Oberth really made that statement and to whom. A Google search, wasn't very forthcoming... Perhaps Allen Greenfield, was lying, but I have no reason to believe that... If anyone can prove otherwise, feel free to do so... But, until then...Apparently ...Two of the biggest "founding fathers" of the world's rocket industry, made claims that Aliens had a hand in helping them develop technology in WWII... Either directly, or by reverse engineering technology from crashed UFOs...
