I can't say that it's a shame for all entries on the list, let's forget about all the Fantastic Four movies made so far and hope that one day they might make a better one. Or just leave that franchise alone.
But a real pity we'll never get another Hellboy, that's for certain!

Agree, Hellboy is the one I would most want to see in that clip. A planned trilogy that's not in the clip and that i definitely wouldn't see, if they changed their minds about it, is Eragon. So bad...

2nd Rambo trilogy? Looks like part 2 (or 5) will never happen.
The 3rd Conan film. Supposedly in the works, but who knows.
Ghostbusters 3.
Burton's Batman 3.
Donner's Superman 3.
Singer's X3. (Well, I guess DoFP is essentially it, though this was to be a different film and trilogy before TLS came about.)
Pet Semetery 3.
Home Alone 3 with Maculhy Calkin.
Hulk 2003 and/or Incredible Hulk trilogy.
Daredevil trilogy or 3rd Daredevil / Elektra universe film.
Ghost Rider (ok, ok, never mind, LOL.)
Man of Steel trilogy, originally planned before BvS became the game plan.
2nd Dirty Harry trilogy (following Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool.)
3rd Stranger film following High Plains Drifter and Pale Rider.
Predator 3 (Predators and The Predator reboot are not the same thing)
Escape From Earth (3rd Escape / Snake Plissken movie)
A proper Highlander 3 (given you accept Highlander 2. Ok ok, really never mind.)
The Fly III (not that The Fly II was great)
Cameron's original Terminator 3.
Raimi's pre-Venom Spider-Man 3.
Roger Avery's 3rd Bret Easton Ellis adaptation, Glamorama (following The Rules of Attraction and Glitteratti)

A proper Highlander 3 would have been nice. Even if the story just could never make any sense, and like Highlander 2 could only be bad. I absolutely love that first movie, it's a great movie, faults and all. And I do like Highlander 2, to be honest
Not sure if a third escape movie would have been good, not after that second one. It might still happen, Russel is still around. But I'm not sure if there's still any interest in that kind of post-apocalyptic action movie, not like in the seventies and eighties at least.

In 2012 Katherine Heigl played Stephanie Plum, the main character in a long line of detective novels. The film was based on the first Plum book, "One For The Money." Each subsequent book was titled in numerical order, thus “Two For The Dough,” “Three To Get Deadly,” etc. The last time I looked the series was up to "Notorious Nineteen." Nevertheless, the movie franchise looks stalled at One.

Sword of Doom is excellent and it was part one of a trilogy but the other two parts were never made

Apparently there was a third Homeward Bound film made, but never released because it upset people or something. Might just have been a rumour though.
There was going to be another sequel to Romancing the Stone, too.

Another sequel to Romancing the Stone? That could have been nice, I wonder what happened with that?

There's actually been two attempts at a third film. The first idea was called The Crimson Eagle, and it was to be set in Thailand and involved the theft of a statue. The later idea was called Racing the Monsoon, and the only known details are that Catherine Zeta-Jones and Matt Damon would've been some of the main characters.

It would be pointless to do a third part of Romancing the Stone without Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas imo. They were the heart of the movies, might as well reboot the series entirely, or do something completely new I guess.

That's the one that makes me sad. I'm also skeptical that Disney will make National Treasure 3 any time soon.

I don't think Cameron ever had a plan to make a third movie. He did. It was going to be about an army of T 800s (all Arnold 101s, of course). He dropped out when he realized he was only doing 3rd one just do a 3rd one for the studio. They were going to move on without him, but Arnold wouldn't do it without Cameron's blessing. Sometime in early 2000s he finally told him something like that character is as much yours as it mine. If you think it's a good story I think you should do it. And he did.

Raimi's pre-Venom Spider-Man 3The pre-Venom script had Adrian Toomes seeking revenge by becoming Vulture, instead of Eddie Brock seeking revenge by becoming Venom. That was literally the only difference.
