Stay away from that abandoned summer camp today.  What if it's no longer abandoned and was recently reopened after years of inactivity?

Tough choice. Think I'll save the movies to watch in October.

Stay away from that abandoned summer camp today. Cool bit of trivia: Composer Harry Manfredini has said that contrary to popular belief, the famous "Chi, chi, chi; ha, ha, ha" in the film's score is actually "Ki, ki, ki; ma, ma, ma". It is meant to resemble Jason's voice saying "Kill, kill, kill; mom, mom, mom" in Mrs. Voorhees's mind. It was inspired by the scene in which Pamela Voorhees suffers from schizophrenia and chants, "Get her, mommy! Kill her!" Manfredini created the effect by speaking the syllables "ki" and "ma" into a microphone running through a delay effect.

I was going to put on the movie but I saw July has a Friday the 13th so I figured it a more fitting time. Summer and the heat and humidity and bugs. Better atmosphere. At the moment April too darn cold.

It's cool that something that at the time might have been so simple and they really didn't know it then has now become something so iconic.

Having just seen The Babysitter (2017) I had to comment on how Robbie Amell's character says this famous and chilling chant from the Friday films while he's stalking the kid in the tree.
