Victoria Coren-Mitchell is getting sexier. What a treat. Funny, clever, good looking... sexy voice. I can't see any flaws here. I think it was really selfish of David Mitchell to impregnate her, before I got a chance to meet her/stalk her. She only had a few prime years left as it was, and he's selfishly stolen them, trapped her. Dude hasn't been funny for years. You bastard Mitchell.

She looks like Queen Victoria! Ouch! I think even Queen Victoria would be the first to admit she's no oil painting. It raises an interesting question, why are the royals so damn ugly? Even the things they married into weren't all that. I mean I know a lot of the marriages were arranged, but c'mon, they could have done a bit better for themselves.

And did you watch the show that prompted the thread? Don't think I've seen her display that magnificent, hypnotic cleavage so comfortably before. Mitchell must pinch himself every few minutes, he surely can't believe his luck.

Where has she been hiding them all these years? I guess she must have some kind of self-esteem issues, how else do you explain her marrying Mitchell?

Alice Roberts had a show on Channel 5 last night. She's my favourite brainy totty.

She is basically a younger, smarter version of Victoria Coren. But probably not as funny (I don't know). Surprised she's on channel 5 now, doesn't seem like a good fit to me.

There was also this Greek archaeologist/historian on a BBC doc a while ago who caught my attention, can't seem to find her though.

Francesca Stavrakopoulou. Programme was called The Bible's Buried Secrets.

Only problem with the likes of Alice Roberts and Brian Cox and all these other celebrity scientists, is I die a little bit inside seeing them acting all enthusiastic about something they love, and then seeing people looking up to them like they're demigods. Just reminds me that I've wasted my talent. And now they're on TV flaunting it in my face. But what can you do? (Other than go back to university, get my PhD then pray I get a job doing something worthwhile).

Some of the others not so much.

Bristol University is the hub of media archaeology. Been on digs with most of the 'TV tarts' as normal archaeologists call that lot. Plenty of anecdotes about 'Time Team'😉

Also Katie Humble, Ellen McCallie and Kathy Sykes on Rough Science were always a good watch.
