Lol it's true, I have no idea what Sub Mariner can do except for having similar powers to Aquaman minus being able to talk to fish.

He can’t even stay away from water for too long without a vest Reed Richards made for him. I think he is very strong and invulnerable and can vause tsunamis that can destroy cities. Then again Aquaman can probably do all that.

Namor also has/had better strength and durability. It wasn't until much later that Aquaman's strength and durability got jacked up.

Wasn't Namor supposed to be a match for Hulk?

Wasn't Namor supposed to be a match for Hulk? Something like that. He's in the same class as Thor, Hulk and Hercules... at least as long as he hasn't been out of water too long. And he's been this way since he was first created. Aquaman, on the hand, only had his talent for talking to sea creatures and his great swimming ability. His strength and durability has been steadily increasing throughout the years and as of the moment, if I'm not mistaken, is roughly equal to Wonder Woman's.

Kind of wish they would have brought Namor in, at some point. Guess they may still do in the future, depending on how the next phase goes at Marvel post-INFINITY WAR, as well as how people react to AQUAMAN's new movie. Marvel has shown with BLACK PANTHER, that they can do something with a character who really isn't all that connected to the main Avengers (Steve, Tony, Nat, Clint, Thor, etc.) and is from an insulated world/kingdom/community that is a step removed from the larger world. And I can't imagine it would be so hard to find an actor who either is, or would be willing to go through with the training/whatever, to become a skilled swimmer.

Aquaman just has too much "lame" connected with him over the years. Namor always seemed much cooler to me.

Is a 7 the highest rating?
What's Captain Marvels stats? Because there was an interview where they said she would be the most powerful character in the MCU when she gets introduced.

Marvel has played with that idea before, that characters we'll come to love, start out as somewhat villainous characters, or at least ones who we aren't entirely sure which side of the fence they are on. Would be cool to see him flipping out on someone, so that the audience think he may well be a villain. Then have it turn out that he's misinformed, we're under-informed, and he's actually a good guy. Maybe it turns out there is something they are doing on the Raft, and when the military realizes that the Raft is vulnerable to Namor/etc., they move the people they are holding and so Namor is trying to get those people. However, to people who don't know what it going on, it just looks like he's killing agents/military dudes/etc. and breaking into random buildings to steal things that make no sense. Be fun if Natasha is the one who figures it out- that she looks it all over and it makes sense to her (or Bucky?) because she's been in that situation before. Then it turns out he's a good guy, and he can help out the Avengers, get his own solo movie, etc. etc.

Stupid site... marvel.com/universe/Ms._Marvel_(Carol_Danvers)#axzz5CqDZTThLI bookmarked Thor's page & look stuff up from there because Marvel.com moves stuff around & its not easy to find the powergrid pages all the time. Ms. Marvel isn't that impressive. POWERGRID durability-4 energy-5 fighting-4 intelligence-3 speed-5 strength-4 Warlock is POWERGRID durability-7 energy-7 fighting-6 intelligence-5 speed-6 strength-6 Captain Mar-vell POWERGRID DURABILITY-7 ENERGY-7 FIGHTING-6 INTELLIGENCE-6 SPEED-7 STRENGTH-6 But he also died of cancer

Aquaman just has too much "lame" connected with him over the years. Namor always seemed much cooler to me. Namor was one of the earliest anti-heroes in comic books.

Give them the old Magneto ending with "Oh you Namor and your wars. See you as a friend in the next movie."
