He called people names. So what? He called them what they were. These days you can drop bombs on people's heads and poison them with horrible chemicals that are killing them.....as long as you don't call them names.

I don't think it would matter if he did sin. If he did, it would spoil the whole "sacrifice for all mankind" thing.

A common thing I hear in Christianity is that Jesus never sinned, but in the Bible, in certain places, Jesus does call people names. He refers to people as "fools" and other things.
My interpretation is that it's okay to call someone a fool if that person is actually a fool, but someone else might argue that it's never okay to call names.
What are your thoughts? Did Jesus ever sin? He never sinned. It is not a sin to be angry, argue with purpose, be sarcastic, or insult in context. I'm not even sure calling someone a hypocrite when they are a hypocrite is insulting them.

Arguably yes, when he went crazy in that church full of merchants and money changers and overturned tables (wrath is a sin)

Well then that leads to the problem of so called "objective" morality in the Bible if there's certain situations where 7 deadly sins don't apply, which really seems to be based on subjective standards on what they should and shouldn't apply to.

Wrath is extreme uncontrollable anger and hate towards another person. The bible connects wrath with vengeance. Somebody wronging you and making you so angry and filled with hatred that you seek retribution. Certainly in this context wrath is a sin. But that is nowhere near what Jesus displayed in the temple.

Is it important that Jesus never sinned? If so, why?
I don't think it would matter if he did sin. Maybe it would help us simple human beings be able to identify with him better.
Not trying to offend anyone, just thinking out loud. If Jesus sinned He wouldn't have been the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He wouldn't have been the Lamb of God able to take away our sins.

Don't need to. It's like wondering why a doctor would hang with the sick.
