So in your collection which solo artist do you have the most albums by ?
The solo artist i have the most albums by is France Gall i have 16 of her albums

Back when I used to have CDs it was King Crimson because I collected their copious live material. I still own their box sets, which add up to ~100 CDs.

the question was solo artist not group. Yes, but you just wrote "artist" on the subject line. That caused me to come up with the answer to that question. After I opened the thread, I did see the words "solo artist", but I didn't want the work I had done to go to waste. But to address the question you asked, it's not worth the effort to come up with a precise answer. I don't have a lot of solo artists in my music collection, and of those, I have one or two CDs at most.

Probably Bowie - Almost every studio album, plus live CDs and compilations, must be 30+ Some might argue The Fall is one man - at least 40 CDs I think
