There is no reason a PG-13 Total Recall can't work. There is nothing about the original short story that warrents an R-rated film.
The reason the remake isn't good is because it has a bad script and is made by a hack director.

I only liked 1 thing about the "TOTAL RECALL" Remake and that was Kate Beckinsale.
