The Oscar-winning director of classics such as AMADEUS, passed away yesterday at age 86. Thank you for your great movies. He will be remembered for Amadeus (1984) as well as..... One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and Ragtime (1981) which captures early 1900s America. Man on the Moon (1999) was also in interesting movie capturing an interesting American The musical, Hair (1979), captures an interesting era in American history. ..I saw a stage version of this musical on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood (c.1970). I may watch Goya's Ghosts (2006) since it is streaming with those of us who have subscribed to Amazon Prime. It seems to be a biopic about the famous Spanish painter, and it has a good cast..including three "Oscared performers" : Javier Bardem, Natalie Portman, and Randy Quaid.
P.S. I had forgotten that I had seen The Firemen's Ball (1967), but I had (also streaming on Amazon Prime)
