Cloud Atlas (2012) Prometheus (2012) No idea what was going on most of the time in either movie. Come to think of it - I just noticed they both came out in 2012. What are the chances? Also - Syriana (2005) Prometheus by itself was a puzzle. But after seeing Alien: Covenant, a lot of Prometheus made sense. Covenant is on my mental Watchlist, but it’s not a priority title for me right now.

Not incomprehensible, but I did have to think about the ending of "Virtuosity" for a while before I figured it out.
The ending of "A Shot in the Dark" probably needs a chart to help illustrate what really happened, but it doesn't matter that much in the end.

Once felt the same way about 2001....then 2010. Then my wife was reading the books, and when she came upon the 3rd book...I think it's 2061, everything was explained.... ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

2001: A Space Odyssey more or less, but I think that's kind of the point.

Ultra low-budget time travel pic, Primer (2004) apparently makes sense if you can follow it, but it went way over my head on my so far sole viewing. and is also helpfully boring A.F. I found Mulholland Dr incomprehensible on first viewing. Quick visit to the interwebs for explanation and it all seemed plain as day. Parts of Lost Highway are still confusing, like the woman being the blonde and the brunette and the photo. A Zed and Two Noughts

Moonrise Kingdom(2014) the worst movie ever, incomprehensible to the max Under the Skin(2013) what was the point of this depressing grim garbage? The only point of Under the Skin was to get Scarlett Johansson to do nudity by making her think she's in an artistic movie.

I had to watch CHINATOWN a couple of times before I got it. Now it's my favorite movie. Same thing with MULHOLLAND DRIVE. Except I still couldn't figure it out and had to look for explanations online. Now I'm absolutely mesmerized by it. The MOST incomprehensible movie for me though is LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD. I've looked for explanations online for this one but it appears that NOBODY can figure it out. Yes! Chinatown is good on first watch. Chinatown becomes incredible on second.

Been so long since I saw this, I don't remember if it's incomprehensible or just really, really boring.

The Visitor (1979). As bad movies go, it's spectacularly bad, and the proceedings are absolute bobkins.

Really liked Donnie Darko. Didn't really get it, but you can make uo your own explanation.
I wanted to strangle Davis Lynch for Mulholland Dr., but Laura Harring has two of the most spectacular breasts I have ever seen. My girlfriend yelled out while we were watching, "Those are the tits I want on my body".

Couldn't get 15 minutes into Eraserhead nor Lost Highway. Almost got all the way through 'Wild Palms' TV series, because it was so stupid it was funny.
