They start by actually making an X-men film, something that Fox has yet to do. Because X2 and DOFP are not xmen movies? did you ever read god loves man kills or dofp 1981 comics?disney are not even making marvel movies, they are making pixar movies look at thor and homecoming. so sad. disney cannot even make xmen tas or xmen evolution. talkless of an xmen movie. No, they're not X-men movies. They're very good movies that focus on a few characters based off of X-men characters... but they are not X-men movies. IF you were a true X-men fan you'd know what that meant.

You keep dodging the point. You can mention whatever comic titles you want, it won't matter when Fox can't even make a proper X-men movie. The feeling of the X-men working as a team is completely missing. The feeling that other characters other than Xavier, Magneto, Wolverine and Mystique are important is missing. The feeling that the different team members complement and strengthen each other, not just via powersets but personalities, is missing. Heck, even the attitudes and personalities of the characters are missing, for the most part anyway. How much personality did characters like Cyclops and Storm have in the movies?

Hey, it's hard to develop characters when every film is a soft reboot! The X universe has always been a disaster. Those films feature terrible writing (character as well as plot) and are simply incomprehensible when viewed as a connected universe. I don't want a Guardians-style comedy fest (it works for Guardians, but don't do it to the X-Men, please) but anything would be better than what Fox has done over the years.
