What do you attribute Terry Rozier's turnaround to? Stevens? Pretty impressive from a player who years past I considered hot garbage. Tatum looks terrific. And where'd this white guy who looks like a character from Braveheart come from? It's pretty impressive watching Stevens put players in the right spots bringing out the best in them and make adjustments. When the Sixers were up huge - and then started bricking 3s left and right - I was hoping Brown would have slowed the pace down just a bit and continued to feed Embiid down low in the block. Ho-Hum. Growing pains. Just hoping we hear nothing from Embiid over the next couple of days and they come out on Saturday 'angry'. They're getting outhustled which isn't good. It isn't a turnaround with Rozier, it's a maturation process. This is his third year and he's gotten better each offseason. He really opened my eyes in the summer league between his first and second years, and he's only gotten better since. He's worked hard and now he's finally getting an opportunity to shine. Tatum is awesome, just awesome. To see him play, you'd never know he was a rookie. I'm assuming you're talking about Baynes with the Braveheart reference? We got him from Detroit. An old school banger who plays with energy and heart. A perfect Brad Stevens player. Brad Stevens might just be the best coach in the NBA. I was excited as hell when we signed him because I saw what he did at Butler. Who takes Butler to back to back NCAA title games?!?! I knew he was good, but this is ridiculous. You lose your second best player on opening night and still lockup a 2 seed. You lose your best player down the stretch headed into the playoffs and win your first round matchup. You lose your leading scorer in the playoffs (Brown) and win without him, then win again with him coming off the bench at 35%. It's crazy. i thought you guys got robbed in the Avery Bradley deal with Detroit... jokes on me - that being said - i think Bradley is a free agent this year - hoping he ends up on the Sixers. i always like his defense and he can shoot from the outside.....

He reminds me of a young Paul Pierce. He just has a fire and confidence in him you rarely see from a player that young. I saw it in Simmons for most of the year, but he looks confused and frustrated in this series so far. I really wish the Sixers stayed at 3 and drafted him now over Fultz, but what can we do. Most thought Fultz was the easy #1 pick. That's what happens with the draft sometimes. I think Boston is going to be VERY tough to beat over the next few years when healthy. This is why the Sixers have to make some huge moves this offseason. I have heard a ton of rumors about them going after PG and Leonard. If that really does come true then the Sixers and Boston will be automatic Eastern Conference Finals opponents for like the next five years. Should be a ton of fun. Losing is never fun for me though.
On another note, I am having a huge Sixers party on Saturday. Tons of people are coming over and we are watching the game. Please God win this one Sixers. I cannot stand a loss. I have an awesome day planned today after work, but I am depressed about this loss.

With the talent you guys have I can't imagine it'll be hard to sign ring chasing veterans (and I mean that in a good way) who can really make a difference. This series isn't over yet. Obviously I'm happy the C's are up 2-0 but they haven't won a road game yet this playoffs and I don't expect Philly to disappear. Should be a fun one. It's insane that the C's are basically doing this with their B-team, imagine what they could do if they were healthy next year? Both of our teams have bright futures, let's enjoy it while it lasts!

Celtics/Cavs - LeBron leads Cleveland past Boston, much like last year. Warriors will dispatch either of the Rockets/Jazz. = Warriors/Cavaliers IV The problem will be the Finals with anti-climatic. Warriors probably sweep any team that gets there. Heck...they already make any series they are in pretty boring. I haven't even bothered watching the games they are in. All the fun stuff to watch is in the East. And I can't help wondering if the Cavs can get past Boston. Celtics play defense. The Cavs role players certainly came to life all of a sudden when they were playing the Raptors instead of the Pacers. Wouldn't be surprised to see a regression once/if they get past the Raps. Lebron is just ridiculous. I mean, seriously. I would argue that he has never played better than he is right now. I feel like he could take me and three other posters from this thread to the Finals this year. Kind of a tragedy that he didn't get to play for a great coach early in his career. He's had to get to where he is pretty much on his own. Reminds me a little of Dirk. Don Nelson was pretty good at what he did, but I thought he should have gotten Dirk to develop a low post move or two early in his career instead of just parking him at the 3 point line. Dirk finally came up with that unguardable fallaway on his own. You lose your leading scorer in the playoffs (Brown) and win without him, then win again with him coming off the bench at 35%. It's crazy. Agreed. That could be what gives Boston the edge in this battle over the next decade. At some point, the Sixers might have to upgrade the coaching so they don't play bridesmaid every year.

Curious what Paul George would look like in a Sixers uni. PG13 plays the '3' (what I've been asking for) - and maybe can rejuvenate his career around Simmons and Embiid leaving that 'chucker' Westbrook. Free Agent this year - always been rumored he loves L.A. and that's where he's headed - but we shall see ...... More interested in draft day swaps too - does Portland break up McCollum/Lillard - do the Spurs swap Leonard (and would the Sixers be bold enough to package Fultz, Saric, Assets (i.e. 2 #1s)..... What do the Sixers do with the Lakers Pick (if it conveys) - take Mikal Bridges at 'SF'? What do they do with their own? Package them both to move up? Fascinating offseason ahead

Again I like DSD, but he deserves this one. EVERY single person on the TNT pregame show said the same exact thing. They should have. The way they came out in game two is exactly what I expected. I just never saw Saric and Simmons sucking so much. Jesus they played terrible. It is really frustrating. All I can hope now is that they win the next two at home. They are a very good home team and Boston struggles away from the Garden. Then I hope that momentum will carry over to game five in Boston. I am very worried though. What the heck is Brown doing? They just have not made any adjustments through two games. I love the way they play, but when things get stopped or the other team gets hot, you need to know how to slow it down and run an offense. The Sixers just seemed to fire up contested threes four seconds into the shot clock instead. It was hard to watch.
One thing I will say is that it is nice to see a straight up series. The refs have been great. There were a couple calls that were suspect late in the game, but that happens to every team in every NBA game. The flow of the game was great and they let them play. Boston is playing amazing. Philly is seemingly the better team, but Boston seems to come out and just play with more energy. They are better coached.
Dude I thought the same thing, I kept my mouth shut. Charles got it too with his "guarantees." Bro its all good. Up 21, I saw fire from Philly, I hate the "moral victory" $hit, my Rockets did the same thing in game 2. We game back from that 16-18ish point deficit and lost. It shows IT CAN BE DONE. Maybe Im insane I still think Philly can win, BUT YOU MUST WIN THE NEXT 2 AT HOME. No ifs-ands-buts.

I dont wanna see it again, Im sick of it. It's makin the NBA look like a joke, why have a season, lets just start at Cleveland Vs GSW and be done with it. Id cheer for GSW, I dont like Lebron. I didnt like him after the "decision." He is a nut hopper imho. I want Durant to destroy him again. So Id be on the side of the GSW, I dont like Lebron. I hate Lebron so much, if he played for Houston Id root against Houston.

Sorry Bro...No matter how well LeBron is playing, GSW with healthy Curry will decimate Cavs. It will be 4-0.

Yeah, Pelicans win 119 - 100, and it wasn't even that close.

I hope my Rockets keep up with this early momentum. Usually we are not able to hold on to a lead. I don't want to see a tense game today. Hope we sail through.

Toronto and Philly are shitting the bed. Hilarious.
Also, good on' the Pelicans and Jazz for winning a game. Let's hope they can make it two to delay the inevitable Warriors - Rockets showdown.

Jesus that was bad.
Capela was on fn fire tonight, on fire. He did embarrass Gobert, he basically said this is my paint.
Up 38 points, at the end, we were basically playing run down the clock. We ended up winning by 21 but it wasnt that close. Mitchell pooped the bed, badly. Glad to see my Rockets bounce back!
Also, glad to see the NO Pelicans at least gonna throw some punches, now down to GSW 2-1.
I hope Philly/Toronto can win, I wanna see some decent series....but my Rockets can win the next two! :-P
