Oh come on....how can home court make that much difference? The Celtics are weird man. Golden State beat New Orleans convincingly 4 times. But the game they lost was the first game in New Orleans where they too were wiped out. I don't think it is just home court advantage. I think humans naturally get a little complacent when the easily go up 2 games to none. Couple that with they other team's sense of urgency and home court advantage, and you have a recipe for the unexpected.

But a 30 point blowout following 2 games where the Celtics were clearly the better team? The Cavs couldn't even compete when Lebron had a 40+ point triple double before!

But Boston has been doing stuff like this the whole playoff. It's like a completely different team on the road.

You have got to be joking. All Boston has done is held serve in the first 2 games. This is probably going to be a 6 or 7 game series. That is what I thought after game one. But after the way Boston beat Cleveland in game two, this series is all but over. Like I said, all Boston did in the first 2 games was held serve. And Cleveland has done the same thing. Now the pressure is back on Boston. Like I said, this series is going at least 6 games and probably 7 and it'll come down to whether this Boston team can beat LeBron in a Game 7.

I was really disappointed in the way the Celtics played in game 4. Well, 7 games is more entertaining for the fans.

The Celtics are weird. But they did keep this one close...which is more than the Cavs did in Boston. Looks like advantage Celtics.

The Celtics are weird. But they did keep this one close...which is more than the Cavs did in Boston. Looks like advantage Celtics. They are weird. They're playing without their two best scorers and they're tied 2-2 in the ECF. Has that ever happened in the history of the NBA? I'm not surprised Cleveland defended their home court, I'm surprised the C's were able to do it in the first two games. Hell I'm surprised they're even here. As I said earlier in the thread, the series isn't close to being over just because Boston won the first two games. The Celtics looked discombobulated at both ends of the court last night, they're going to have to rediscover their mojo on Wednesday if they hope to push it to a game 7, because it's clear they can't win game 6 in Cleveland. The worst case scenario was what happened Saturday, where the C's just let Cleveland do whatever they wanted and regain confidence. Even a close game would've had them exhausted and questioning whether they could beat Boston. Now they believe they're the better team and the Celtics have to get back to the defensive pressure they were exerting earlier in the series if they have any hope at all of pulling this series out.

I think that's the whole thing right there. It's all about the Celtics defense. I expect the Cavs role players to revert to hopeless mode in Boston. I also think Boston did exactly what you said last night. Everything was working for the Cavs...and the Celtics still kept it close. Is Korver going to block 3 shots in every game? Are the Celtics going to miss that many layups and dunks normally? Kinda smells like another blowout Celtics win coming.

Damn Houston! So this is now a real series! Didn't think they had it in them!
Harden goes 1 of 7 in the 4th quarter and they win. So that's the "MVP"? That's why you don't give the MVP award to a guy on the best team. Obviously that team doesn't rely on one player more than any other team. Can you imagine the Cavs winning a game when Lebron doesn't play well? Heck....has Lebron ever played for a team that could win when he didn't play well?

Looks like it must have been a good game. 95 - 92. Must have gone down to the last minute.

Rockets led by 7 at the half. GS skipped away to go 12 ahead in the last. Houston were then inspired to rally by Chris Paul and then just held on. Harden was very solid on D down the stretch. He's still the clear MVP for mine.

Harden was the one who got us back when we were 0-12. He was all over the warriors in second quarter and a defensive monster all through. Had something like 7 deflections in the game.
