Funny isnt it? The first round the east match ups were going the distance and the west match ups were ending 4-0 and 4-1. (Utah-OKC went 4-2). East meanwhile had two 7 game series, one 4-1 series and one 6 game series. It is kinda funny how the script has flipped. The problem with the West is there is really only one team I'm buying into. I'll need to actually see the Rockets win a couple of games against the Warriors before I believe that can be a real series.

Sixers have been favored in every game this series . . . and they're favored tomorrow by 6.5. Guess the Process fans are going to go down with the ship.

Jazz cut it to 5, 80-85 but Capela missed a shot, got his rebound, and Ariza hit a massive 3, and that was basically all she wrote.
This is a hard played game. Neither team looks good at scoring because simply both teams are amazing a defense.
Houston up 3-1 GSW up 3-1 Cleveland up 3-0 Boston up 3-0
I hope each series can at least get to 5. COME ON EASTERN CONFERENCE, PHILLY AND TORONTO! (Im more confident in Philly getting one because at least theyre on their home floor.)

The weird thing about the Cavs is this.
They were the last to get out of the 1st round and had the least rest. I thought that would be a big deal with Lebron's age and all.
But with their series being the only one that doesn't have any extra days rest and them going for a sweep...they could come out of this as the most rested team for the conference finals.
And yeah...I probably just jinxed them. I'm totally still tempted to pick Raps for game 4. Hard to believe they would go out in 4 straight.

odd time for the Sixers/Celts game today.
6:00pm EST on the East Coast on a Monday. Most likely because the LeBron's play at 8:30 and that's 'the game'.
Curious if we'll see some empty seats early due to people not being able to get out of work and to the arena quick enough.
Of course when the Phils got screwed with day game baseball playoffs in years past - the park was always packed.
Really want to see if the Sixers come out and fight instead of rolling over and dying like dogs.
Expecting them to win this game and have some pride and show some fight and go back to Boston.

I get how fans are disappointed - but you've got to look at the big picture and take a step back if you're a true fan. I really don't think anybody could have predicted what they accomplished this season. Sure Boston is going to be at the top of East for years to come - but dependent upon what the Sixers do this offseason in Free Agency, trades, the draft - they're going to be right up there with them. To me - the real excitement begins on draft night - not necessarily who the Sixers may take with the Lakers pick if it conveys and not who they may take with their own pick - but what trades if any are made. And then - correct me if I'm wrong - Free Agency Starts July 1st or so..... Going to be the most important offseason of 'The Process' and we'll see how the final product looks going into next October. Do they get LeBron? Sign George? Trade for Kawhi (I wouldn't do this) - swing another trade for that Combo Guard who Fultz was supposed to be or remain patient with Fultz and give him the offseason to get his head on right (I'd lean this way) unless we're talking about a CJ McCollum.....

I think if Embiid has no mask, he has a better view of the situation on that steal. Hope to hell Boston can beat the Cavs. Once again, looks like the Cavs avoid the tough opponent. Who would the tough opponent have been? If Boston has proven anything this postseason, it's their toughness. If Philadelphia isn't mentally strong enough to beat an undermanned Celtics team, I don't know how they would've matched up with the Cavs.

Philly has showed no 'dog' this series. Saric always gives 110% and runs around like a madman and he has for the most part this series (except for that embarrassing play where he let Brown blow by him on a loose ball) - but he's been brutal offensively. Want to see some toughness from Simmons (who's shown it in the past but he looks rattled this series) and Embiid - not dirty play but some chippiness like the Heat showed in Round 1. I'm over Covington - wouldn't mind having him come off the bench - but this cat rarely shows any emotion at all out there - which is why I want another SF in here to start - streaky shooter and more off than not he's been cold - can't penetrate or create his own shot either.

Yeah I don't know what's happened to Simmons. He'll be fine in the long term, but he's a rookie and right now it's showing. I'm wondering how Philly fans feel when they see Tatum lighting it up the way he has been? So far it looks like the C's definitely won that trade.

Tatum is very impressive - it's not just his shooting - it's his toughness - he's going to the hole at will and is completely unphased if Embiid and another defender is in front of him and trying (and succeeding at times) to throw it down with authority. I thought the rap against him at Duke was he had no outside shot. I'm surprised - he's so poised - and he's been draining 3s too. I wanted no part of him in the draft. He isn't what the Sixers needed - they needed a Combo Guard - Fultz was their man and they traded up to secure him. Want to see how Fultz looks coming in next October - but it is worrisome. Did you see that blank stare in his eyes (may have been Game #1 or Game #2)? The camera panned to him sitting on the bench as Tatum was lighting it up - and he had this blank expression on his face and didn't blink for what felt like an eternity. There's just something 'off' - hope the kid gets his head on straight.

Hope Fultz becomes a solid player but I'm afraid Philly fans will always wonder what the future could've been, had they taken Tatum instead. And as you mentioned in an earlier post, it is an odd start time for tonight's game. Not sure what the logic is there but I doubt there will be many empty seats. Fans find a way, they always do.

Want to know what the bigger kick in the a$$ is from the whole deal? If that Lakers pick falls between 2-5 this year - you guys get it - if not - you're getting the Sacramento pick next year But look at what what Rozier is doing for you now - who knows - maybe Fultz turns it around - he's 19.

That's another element to Sixers/Celtics that is going to make it interesting to watch. The mini-drama of Fulz/Tatum
