I never liked Fultz, I said from the get go id taken Ball..but trade Ball. (Simmons and ball...two pass first guys, I dont see hows it works).
IMAGINE is 76ers could have nabbed Ball, and traded Ball for Fultz and got a piece like K. Kuzma. Kuzma man get hit those shots. He'd fit so well with Ben. What's done is done.
I wonder what kind of player Philly could nab if they trade Cov and Fultz. I also got to wonder....what if Philly did nab Tatum...O BOY...this team would be insane.
I still hate Lebron to Philly, to me, it's a cop out all around. No one will "respect" the process, and i'd lose respect for this club.
P. George or Leonard would be interesting. I'd love to see a swap, Leonard for Lebron or Leonard and an additional piece for Lebron. (Leonard and Gay?)
Or wait 2019 and go for Klay.
Of the game 4s, I got no faith anymore in Toronto. Aint that somethin? Indiana took Cleveland to 7, and it looks like the number one seed is gonna be swept.
Yikes.
I will say f it, I think Philly gets one and goes down in game 5.
Looks like we are headed for:
Cleveland V Boston GSW Vs Houston
COME ON HOUSTON AND BOSTON!

Glad to see the Sixers show some life. Good learning experience.
Boston is reminding me of the Eagles. Expected to lose in every round due to injuries but they just keep winning. I won't be surprised if they do the same thing to the Cavs. Coaching matters.
Cavs are the first team to the conference finals. Lebron probably needed that after being the last team out of the 1st round. I never would have guessed it though.
So now the Cavs will be expected to beat Boston after most just assumed they wouldn't get out of the 1st round 2 weeks ago. Funny how that works.

For one fleeting moment it looked like we weren’t destined to see Cavs/Warriors in the finals for what feels like the billionth time.
Sigh.

Everyone here is hindsight experts. I love the experts that predict winners after the game is over. Just about everyone on the planet had the Sixers winning this series. As an NBA fan, I would say it is over, but as a Sixers fan why not us? We are seemingly the better team. Win game five in Boston and we have a series. Still, I said preseason that a playoff series win is the ceiling for this team. They already did that. This was supposed to be the transition year before the big offseason and we completely exceeded expectations. We have to look at the big picture.
Also, so many people live in the moment. Tatum was completely outplayed by Simmons last night. I guess Simmons is better than him again? Simmons played better all season and Tatum has a few good games and all of the sudden is the best rookie. It is hilarious how people change their opinions after every game.

Toronto and Portland, 2 similar star-guard-centric teams, both swept away.

Not to beat a dead horse, but this is the point I was making to you the other day. You were talking about Houston being in trouble in the next round because they lost one game to Utah. Is Golden State in trouble in the next round because they lost one game to the Pelicans? Everyone overreacts to one game, especially in the playoffs. I remember the local guys on NBC Sports Boston proclaiming the Bucks series was over after the C's went up 2-0. It's wild to me that people who have watched sports their whole life can get so caught up in the moment. I didn't know anyone was saying Tatum was better than Simmons, though he's certainly had a better series to date. I didn't expect Boston to sweep (hell, when the series began I didn't even expect them to win), but it would've been nice to get it over with now that Cleveland is resting up for the ECF. Hopefully the Celtics can get a win tomorrow, but they're going to have to play with more focus than they did last night.

I have to nitpick. It will obviously be Houston and Golden State. Golden State looks much better right now, in my opinion.

The surprise? The unexpected?

nba guru Steve Broussard explains to Colin Cowherd why LeBron will be on the Sixers next year. anybody else hear the story about how Rodney Hood refused (scared??) to enter the game last night. yeah - if i was LeBron I'd want to stick around that cast
