I love The Walkabouts so I voted for them. Kudos for mentioning them - this is only the second time I've seen them mentioned on these boards. They're pretty obscure. Mortytoad was a Walkabouts fan too.
I've never heard Cowboy Junkies.

Cowboy Junkies but The Walkabouts have some fantastic recordings and were terrific as a live set. They've disbanded, yes?
