I thought they were integrated in 2002? By law, a school that has a prom has to allow any student of any race. However there is a difference between law and tradition. And the tradition at many schools is that white students organize a white prom, and black students organize a black prom. As long as it’s not officially sanctioned by the schools, it’s legal. But they don’t have to do anything to discourage it either. |

There is nothing wrong with social custom which preserves the genetic integrity of any group. This benefits African-Americans as well as they are a minority which could easily be interbred out of existence if miscegenation is permitted among heterosexuals.
In a thousand years is it really in the interest of the human race that all genetic diversity be eliminated? And if you say "who gives a rat's ass?", remember that would mean cultural diversity would be eliminated as well.

What do smaller ethnic groups do in these situations. Are they automatically classed as "black" or do they just hire out a small room somewhere?
Oh and what do students already dating outside their ethnic group do?
