Last night I watched One More Time with Feeling(16) A Nick Cave doc, had no idea it was originally shot in 3D until a few people started asking, "is this the 3D camera" during filming/interviews. Was really surprised and delighted to find out another top director Andrew Dominik had dabbled in 3D and this was as recently as 2016. So much for 3D being dead
Other earlier ones I've seen were Dial M for Murder and one of the Friday the 13th movies.
Werner Herzog's Cave of Forgotten Dreams(10) has been on tv a few times but only in 2D, unfortunately will finally have to watch it next time its on, unless I buy the 3D disc

The Mad Magician, Gorilla At Large, House of Wax, Friday the 13th 3, Jaws 3-D, Treasure of the 4 Crowns, Avatar... I saw Gorilla at Large when the small tv-station of Prescott aired it back in the early 80s. Saw Jaws 3-D in 3-D at the theatre when it first came out in 1983.

Yeah they had Mad Magician and Gorilla at Large on tv during the 3d craze--and they were selling the glasses at 711. I think I did watch them in 3d at the time--on tv. I saw Jaws 3 at a drive in..dont remember having the glasses for it.

Reminds me though-I saw the teaser trailer for Jaws 3 and they have it on youtube.
I still think its effective and so simple.

For some reason I have not seen Jaws 3 since the 80s. I didnt hate it, but never got around to rewatching it after 1 or 2 showings on tv.

I remember how I really wanted to see the 3D movie Comin' At Ya at the theater when it was first released in the early 80s. This was an R-rated spaghetti western, and I was a bit too young to see it at the time. But a couple of years ago I caught the 2D version on YouTube. Turns out it wasn't that good.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk(16) It was on Sky for ages but still no sign of the 3D version. Definately one of the most impressive HD movies I've seen, so much detail in that stadium, wish I saw it in the crazy specs Ang Lee had it shot in. Thought it was way better than its IMDb 6.3 Maybe it might end up shown in the specs it was shot in at some 3D film festival somewhere round the world, if there is such a festival.
