I'm willing to bet if IW was completely made up of black female actors the RT score would be way higher. Can we maybe not go there?

I'm willing to bet if IW was completely made up of black female actors the RT score would be way higher. It would be at a 97%, 1% higher than Black Panther which was primarily a black male cast

Can we maybe not go there? Sorry dude. Just making an honest observation. If the cast was comprised of disabled black lesbians then it would have been 99% RT, average rating 9/10.

Could this settle in the 70s? I'm getting that feeling. Well it's said to be better than AOU so I doubt it. At worst I would say an 80, also it just went up to 87.

Now it's at 88%. More evidence of your impartiality. Bravo!

Maybe. The YouTube reviews I’ve seen say that the problems with the film is that it’s convoluted with too much happening. Apparently nothing is fleshed out other than Thanos. I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being true. I thought a runtime closer to 3 hours would've been a lot better. A longer run time means less screenings and thus less box office. MCU Dictator Kevin Feige would rather take more of your money than make a good movie. That's why they won't even finish the story because they want you to pay extra to see the conclusion.

Uh.. ok? Not sure what this is supposed to prove. The movie had a biracial girl as its lead, women in prominent roles (including Oprah), and a black woman for a director.

They're called artificial boosters, not miracle workers. They can help boost the reception of a decent movie, they can't turn a bad movie into a good one. Besides, Wrinkle in Time had a fraction of the media precense that BP, WW or even Ghostbusters had.

And where is the established rule book for how these “artificial boosters” work? Ehere’s The proof behind what you’re claiming? Also, your assessment about AWIT not having much media attention, isn’t quite correct.

Icing on a cake will help the cake's taste as long as the cake is decent. But no amount of icing will help if your cake is burnt. Yes? Clear enough for you? And are you saying that AWIT had the same amount of media attention as BP and WW?

And are you saying that AWIT had the same amount of media attention as BP and WW? You are aware that the tomatometer percentage score doesn’t reflect how much critics like a movie, but simply the percentage of critics who recommend it, right? Are you suggesting that the critics who otherwise would’ve hated movies like WW and BP decided to give them good reviews just because of diversity? Also, while AWIT may not have received as much media attention as BP, it arguably received just as much as WW, prior to its release. The Oscars even made a big deal out of the film.

I'm saying critics can be a bit more forgiving of a movie that represents a favored political or social stance. As for AWIT, all you really need to do is compare it's trailer views with WW to get an easy comparison on how much attention it got.

Have the real critics in China had their say yet? “Easily the best Marvel movie ever made, this is also shaping up to be one of the great blockbusters of the 21st-century” Rating: 5/5 James Mottram, South China Morning Post Lol.
