Also it has 100 reviews so looks like it will stay inbetween mid to high 80s.

Honestly in my heart, I knew this wasn't going to get critically praised like Black Panther.

I'm saying critics can be a bit more forgiving of a movie that represents a favored political or social stance. As for AWIT, all you really need to do is compare it's trailer views with WW to get an easy comparison on how much attention it got. Since when are trailer views a factor in how much critics will favor a movie? It doesn't. I mentioned the trailer views as an example that AWIT didn't have us much media attention as the other stated movies. As for critics, it's no secret that they give bonus points to movies that tackle social issues. They commonly write about this in their reviews.

If that ending really happens than this will be my favorite Marvel movie. It reminds me of Far Cry 5 ending which was pretty dark as well! even if you know that, based on which characters actually "go" and based on your knowledge of the MCU-phase 4 schedule, most of it will be retconned courtesy of magic time-stones and such, and hardly anybody STAYS faux-dead?
What are the stakes when stakes are just shams? Trust you tell me when you have seen it.

There was a bunch of talk about how significant it was, due to being the first $100 million film to be directed by a black woman. Also, critics don’t give “bonus points” to a film that tackles “social issues”. You have zero proof to show for this. You just made a completely random comment about how critics would’ve liked this movie better if it starred black women. What was even the point of that? Just because you’re salty that the film isn’t scoring even higher?

I mean it's the kind of ending that I've wanted the film to have. Sure there's characters that will probably be revived, it happens in the source material. Do I expect all deaths to be permanent? No. But I appreciate ending a film in a dark way.

I read two negative reviews that said it had too much action. Hilarious. Too much action is a legit complaint. Age of Ultron was an overcrowded mess because there was just too much going on.

No it was not. It was a mess because the dialogue was pretty juvenile compared to other MCU movies. The action was not a problem.

As for the critics, all you really need to do is read critics reviews and notice how often they'll mention social issues when they're tackled in the movie - and praise it for doing so. You'd have to be completely blind to not notice this. And if you still disagree with me, then so be it. I will not waste time trying to prove something to someone who continuously closes their eyes to facts.

Critics mentioning a movie tackling “social issues” generally only applies if that’s what the movie seeks out to do. Simply starring women and black people isn’t going to “artificially boost” a movie’s score. Also, what facts am I closing my eyes to? Your whole argument is nothing more than an assumption.

I guess we aren't supposed to remember how many critics told us how "important" BP was? I doubt those particular critics will favor IW. I already saw one tweet that complained "not enough of the cast of BP was featured"

As good as Black Panther was, I don't think it was a 96% , #1superhero movie ever like that site made it out to be. It was definitely bolstered up a little bit because of what it was.
So Infinity War not getting reviews as good as Black Panther means little to me.
