Bummed for Josh Rosen. Was hoping he'd go early. So was he. What an arrogant tool.

Baker will be handing off to the RB that helped end his college career. Also best pals and college roommates Sony Michelle and Nick Chubb taking different paths in NFL. Chubb will have a tough road to even make playoffs. Sony and fellow Dawg Isiah Wynn selected by evil genius to play for perpetual AFC Champs new england.

Browns just can't help themselves when it comes to drafting headcases, can they? Callaway's said he's turned his life around but that's a lot of baggage he's amassed in a short time.

I've gotta be happy with the Browns' draft class. There's always gambles but that's the nature of the game. Just impatient waiting for the season to start - should be epic.

happy with the Birds too.
asked for a physical CB.
check
asked for a TE
check
stated you can never have enough O-Lineman.
check
i'm liking the thought of lining this guy up with Ertz at times with Jeffery at WR and Ajayi in the backfield with Wentz under center

Proponents of the New Orleans Saints' draft say;
1) They filled a desperate need by moving up to draft a potential sack star with their first pick. 2) They picked a potential good receiver that could turn their receiver corp into one of the strongest in the league. 3) They picked potential depth at defensive backfield and offensive line. 4) And they picked a potential answer to Sean Payton's never-ending desire to replace Darrin Sproles. 5) And they seemed to have picked good athletes who at the very least maybe able to help with special teams.
Of course, that is all "potential". Nothing means anything until they hit the field. But as far as the draft goes, that is all they can do until camp starts.
Critics say the Saints still have not addressed a need for a tight end. But they did resign Ben Watson. And they may go after Antonio Gates from San Diego. Who the Chargers have indicated they will not resign.

That being said - and I think the Birds get this now since they have Ajayi and Clement (please no more Smallwood and Pumphrey despite being hurt is undersized and doesn't look like he'll materialize into anything) - please just keep Sproles as a situational back and use him to return punts/kickoffs. can use him as a decoy too in the backfield but i'm hoping he's just good for the occasional screen pass coming out of the backfield now. still want a 'bruiser' though since Blount moved onto the Lions....

Many people did --- and still question not resigning Sproles. The proponents say he was getting old and his production was slipping. And because of the NFLPA, he was getting real expensive. The Saints have had good running backs since Sproles left. But no true situational scatback. Kamara and Ingram do everything. But the Saints had nobody but Ingram until Kamara came along last year. If this new guy works out, he will be a lot cheaper than Sproles.
