Jesus, how did New England get that schedule? Goodell gave them the AFC North and NFC East this season.

Leave it to MCU to fuck it all up and give the world the worst Peter Parker / Spider-Man ever. What are you talking about? According to this link of yours, Spiderman Homecoming is among the top ten best superhero movie of all times! That's way better that the other five SM movies, at #24, 29, 49, 65, (off the chart bad). And no doubt Spiderman Far From Home will swing into your list somewhere in the top 10-20. That is total domination by the MCU Spiderman movies, just like Tom Holland totally dominates the best Spiderman polls. So, all you are left with is your own personal opinion. The same personal opinion that said BvS and Justice league are among the greatest superhero movies ever made. Oh brother! ... That's still funny! Spiderman Far From Home - #12. Not bad! The MCU Spiderman domination is complete!

Uh, no. The “debate” is about the talent level of a team during a specific season. No, your exact words were ... Semantics will not save you. You, and only you, completely missed the point.

1995 Cowboys, 10 pro-bowl players. The one and done 2007 Cowboys, 13 pro-bowl players. An NFL record. What a player did over an entire career in order to qualify for the hall of fame is immaterial to the season in question, so your argument has little merit. The debate is about talent and being a Pro Bowler is immaterial so your argument has NO merit. Uh, no. The “debate” is about the talent level of a team during a specific season. Talking about how great a player was over their entire career is just another instance of your inability to remain on point. Counting Hall of Fame players is a poor measure to determine the talent level of a team during a specific season … since a non-HoF player could be peaking during that season, contributing greatly to the overall talent level of the team … or a future HoF player could be having a down year, contributing very little to the team that season. Also, since achievements is a consideration in selecting a HoF candidate, any 2007 Cowboy player already has a strike against him … since they achieved nothing … which is my very point!

From what I can recall (it was a long time ago), I was disappointed but not surprised. After all, in the divisional round the Giants bitch-slapped what was arguably the most talented team in NFL history, the 2007 Dallas Cowboys. The 2007 Cowboys weren't even the most talented Cowboys team. The 1995 Super Bowl champion Cowboys had 5 Hall-of-Famers: Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Charles Haley, Deion Sanders. 1995 Cowboys, 10 pro-bowl players. The one and done 2007 Cowboys, 13 pro-bowl players. An NFL record. What a player did over an entire career in order to qualify for the hall of fame is immaterial to the season in question, so your argument has little merit. When it comes to choking, it's hard to beat the 2007 Cowboy! ... who accomplished absolutely nothing that season ... losing to a team they beat twice during the regular season.

From what I can recall (it was a long time ago), I was disappointed but not surprised.
After all, in the divisional round the Giants bitch-slapped what was arguably the most talented team in NFL history, the 2007 Dallas Cowboys. In the Cowboys own house. Squashing their one and only real hope, over the last 20+ years, to at least make to the big show.
After humiliating the Cowboys and their overconfident fans with a one and done, they then beat the #1 Green Bay Packers.
The writing was clearly on the wall, for anyone smart enough to see it.
It's a true testimony to the Patriots long term greatness. Most teams fold after losing a Super Bowl. They become a shell of their formed selves, languishing in a funk of remorse and self-pity. It can take some of these teams a decade to recover. The Patriots, on the other hand, pick themselves up and soldier on ... their loses give them strength ... which has ultimately lead us to the current Golden Age of the New England Patriots. Five years ... four Conference Championships ... three World Championships ... and a pretty good shot at another one. Without the loss of 42 to fuel the fire, we may never have had 49, the unforgettable 51 and 53.

Perception for the perpetual crybabies will always trump facts. Six time World Champion Tom Brady causes them much distress, so any call that goes his way is amplified in their mind, fueling their angry conspiracy theories as to why the Patriots are so successful and their team is not. For the rest of us, there is this ... Roughing the Passer calls, by QuaterbackWho has a higher roughing the passer call rate than Brady? (Calls per 100 pass attempts) Why, looky there! Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott. Now, watch the roaches scatter! If we are looking at the same chart in your link then Awesome Aaron and Tom Cheater Cry Baby are tied with the same numbers of calls for them at 28 each and Prescott is far down the list. We are looking at the same chart, you're looking at the wrong column, Ace. Hopefully, I don't need to explain the significance of the RTP rate over the total. This list clearly indicates that all the fuss about Brady being protected by the refs, is just a figment of your unhappy little imagination. Suck it up, chum. Aaron (I like to sneak illegal footballs past the refs) Rodgers will probably go down in NFL history as just another one hit wonder. Particularly, if he remains a Green Bay Packer (The only NFL team to actually get kicked out of the league for cheating)... and that's a cryin' shame.

I'd say 80% of Pats fans hated the AB acquisition. According to them, he was an unneeded disruption to an already excellent WR corp.
20% feared the worse, but hoped for the best. After all, AB is arguably the greatest WR in the NFL. A potential cherry on top of an already SB contender, if he could keep it together.
Well, the experiment lasted just 11 days. No big deal. Like I said in another thread, the Pats are great at buckling down and overcoming adversity. This AB thing will be forgotten within a week.
... and the OP will be crying and whining come playoff time. Again.

I'm drinking with an obnoxious Cleveland fan and I need to root against him.

+18.5 points?
If Miami has any semblance of dignity, they will come out smoking today. Couple that with the Patriots being on cruise control (let's not kill ourselves against these scrubs) will result in less of the blow-out that many anticipate.

We all (almost all of us) suck. Surely someone other than KKB could’ve backed the underdog in a divisional game? Hmmmm ... perhaps I should quit now?
