The best of the best in each conference going at it with the Super Bowl on the line and everything that entails, and when it's over and the confetti is falling, both winners believe that they're going to win it all. When the Patriots won the 1985 AFC Championship Game , you don't think they actually believed they were going to beat the Bears in the Super Bowl, do you? Probably more than the Dallas Cowboys. Wasn't '85 the scene of another one-and-done playoff appearance by the Cowboys? After getting utterly shellacked by the Bears during the regular season (44-0*), perhaps you can't blame them for tapping out so early - knowing what was in store for them if they advanced any further. Or maybe they just sucked that year. Cowards or Suck. Take your pick. In the end, it doesn't really matter. No one ever talks about the '85 Cowboys. * Geez, at least the Pats managed to put up a few points against the Bears ... but, 44 to zero!? What did the Cowboys do, cry "no mas" and just retreat to their locker room?

Wow...one MCU fan really rubbed you up the wrong way LOL, no kidding. DC-Fan lost each of those arguments, so now he's intentionally mischaracterizing (lying about) what that MCU fan said. That's all you need to know that he got pwned big time ... and he knows it! ... and he better be careful. Our Admin has already told him there are no socks associated with this MCU fan, and our mod has warning him about his repeated unfounded sock accusations. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a little time out to consider the errors of his ways.

I think most Republicans recognize that Trump is an imperfect agent. A necessary lesser "evil" against the cultural armageddon the liberals are willfully steering us toward. And don't pretend you're not. Virtually everything a liberal stands for these days is anti-traditional-American. Marriage = man & woman.

Just listen to that Swedish kid mouthpiece ogle at the prospect of eliminating all those who stand in her way. (She later apologized for revealing the plan.) And you wonder why we will never let you take our scary looking "assault rifles" under the guise of "common sense gun control". Another case where you let 'em talk long enough and they reveal the plan to confiscate all the guns. Gee, I wonder why they would want to do that?

You seem to miss the point that the beauty of it was that it was a leftie ripping other lefties. Watching the left eat their own is always amusing ... plus it illustrated how far off the rails and out of touch liberalism and it's "elites" have become. 'Off the rails' would be a party that once ran on 'family values' blindly following a guy paying a porn star for sex while his wife is at home with the kid. Guess who will still be the NFL world champs after next weekend? ... and the weekend after that ... and the following weekend? That's right - the N.E. Patriots! WRONG!!! When a King is killed and a new King hasn't been coronated yet because there are still multiple claimants to the throne, that doesn't mean the dead King is still King. When the King is killed, he's no longer King. The Titans have eliminated the Patriots so the Patriots are no longer the champs.
The Patriots were defeated, they are not dead. They have risen from the ashes many times before, after you proclaimed them dead and buried. A better analogy would be an incumbent President who gets defeated by a challenger in the primary. The defeated incumbent is still the President and remains in office until a new President is elected in the general election. Likewise, the N.E. Patriots are still the World Champions, all day, every day, until someone else wins the title. Won't be the Dallas Cowboys, that's for sure!

After Feb 2, the title will pass on to another team*, as Aaron Rodgers watches from his couch, cradling his lone Superbowl ring. The only one he will ever win. So sad.
* It's just not fair for the Patriots to win it all, every single year. I'm perfectly willing to live with every other year. Gotta share the wealth. Give the other kids a chance to win a prize every once in a while. Otherwise, your butt-hurt on display may spread to others, and we don't want that!
