Disingenuous or not, I'm having a hard time disagreeing with Blade on this one.
At the end of the day Superdude committed the crime and it's not Blade's job to tell whether Superdude was right.The admin's decision regarding punishment is the end all decider and so if there is not sufficient evidence for the mods to permaban him, then don't. I think most here are aware that Superdude is an archivist. If you never publicized or otherwise shared with him the information in question, then he must have obtained it illegally. But then there's this little snag: You knew and openly admitted that the information was not correct. That was not your name, and it was not your Facebook account. I know. Anyone who saw the thread now knows my name and location. There are two common spellings for that name and it wouldnt take two seconds for someone to find out the spelling for my name. I don't really understand that 'troll' label yet, but what I don't like about this is that it does seem (when the posts are read) as if it's implied even now that you MAY be into 'pedophilia' or that sort of thing after all.
