Glad it did not go that way. Everybody wants to direct a Batman movie it seems. Problem is there are superb Batmovies already.
One solid Aquaman movie is worth more than yet another superb Batman movie.
It's as simple as that.

Theron is to be thanked for Furiosa and Monster. This is just blatant business development a la Hollywood, open lucrative doors by endorsement and brown nosing.
Her quotes are evidently absurd and contradictory; Wakanda was an anachronistic male-led society with fighting power-rituals and ape-grunting. Wakanda is even sillier than the wealthy African nation of ZAMUNDA in Coming to America (1988).
Hell, absurdly Theron is more African than any of the lead actors in that movie. Allegedly, Marvel even wanted to let go of the African accents (a la Scarlet Witch) to make the movie more accessible until some of the cast objected.

Nick Fury interaction with the cat is basically how I am around kitties. #metoo - note that CapMarvel did not even smile when seeing this but she kept her cold RBF.
If it does not turn out that she really is a Vulcan ice princess's robot with amnesia that's such a PLOT HOLE.

lol, impressive comparitive analysis that. Still, considering how much you were concerned with Larsons's butt size I am surprised you got enough blood in your brain left to do a butthurt fanboy thread at all. Just sayin'.

Aww you think you don't care about Marvel films, so sweet.

I like closeted Marvelites the best. Why not come out and make this your avatar, red?
But why would someone pretend not to be a fan of something so successful? As opposed to, say, something as embarrassingly awful as DC films? ask yourself that. I call it the hipster sheeple. You tick all the boxes.
Maybe you should talk to NickoNose about it. You can bleat "Meeeh, moooar Marvel" together in the closet.

Obviously she's too good for these movies, but at least we're getting a female superhero lead who can act. bummer there is no evidence of that in the trailers so far. If Kong Island is any indication: she really can't. These trailers just mirror that.

and if it would't hurt you definitely wouldn't feel the need to point it out that it doesn't.

^ do I see a salty tear? There, there.

Let it all out little man, there, there. It's only a movie, and an Oscar.

correct, in 1969 deservedly.
But don't even fall for this uninformed nonsense. Kubrick was a person, not a movie. Whether he or anybody else won Oscars is completely irrelevant.
Suicide Squad won. More than 20+ MCU films put together. That's a fact. That hurts.

the chase was poorly executed, I mean they could have made it with some...you know suspense, like in Empire where they attack, hide and trying tricks to escape.
But in the end this is just a minor flaw.

Maybe like this? Not big enough, huh? Lets try the last 2 minutes of the film. The HORROR - blatant smiles more than once, shockingly even during the very FINAL shot as CLOSE UP, completing the arc? This man really does not smile anymore. Maybe instead of engaging in whiny deflections try watching the movies and to understand what they are saying and why. Makes a difference. I was responding the to OP of course. Who hasnt seen Captain Marvel, your comment should be directed at them. The comment is relative to expectations. Is your or the OP’s argument that Carol will literally NEVER smile? Unlikely. More like if she doesn’t smile enough, she’s being criticized for it. Similar to how Superman was particularly unsmilely, even though you could find a few moments in 7+ hours of movies where he wasn’t entirely dour. I’m not bashing it, it’s just Snyder’s style.all right then. Snyder is drama driven, not comedy. I vastly prefer that. Captain Marvel smiles 2 times (in car and hen she sees her plane) - in the trailer at least. I am fine if she never smiled as long as it fits the tone and the acting is adequate, not just a one note performance.

everybody here is saying how Venom made money from Foreign markets saying its not good, well Homecoming made tons of money from Foreign markets and yal are praising it. Foreign market is only good when its convenient for you, biggest hypocrites ever. correct, Homecoming box office was essentially saved from disgrace by China (where he is the Nr 1 Superhero for the kids), in other countries it dropped like crazy over 60% despite the much hailed return of Marvels biggest star into the arms of (excessively bored) RDJ-IronMang and MCU. There is nothing wrong with that way of making money though. Just conveniently hypocritical by the MCU fanboys.

She probably smiles when she farts. she smiled 2 times in the trailer, very mildly so but it is there. Jackson is such a lucky man.

and yet it looks like a bloody splatterfest of gutts and gore vis-a-vis sterile MCU efforts or Homecoming. Sony tries to build a Spiderverse, it's only natural they will adapt the tone and gore to that level.
Pity, it's not a sane argument of yours regardless of how many times you repeat it.
Eh, the Venom movie is actually pretty tame. I saw more blood in Raimi's original Spider-Man. I am assuming you are sqeamish and just looked away when it got gruesome? I remember the creatures biting off several heads and decapitating/killing an entire table of scientists, and I remember implanted creatures eating up guinea pig humans from inside, or dead soldiers being used as club to trash other soldiers.
I do not remember anything close to that in the original Spider-Man movie, as good as it was...

see that is where I dont agree. it was not a sinking ship. it was a little stumble and when u stumble you pick yourself up and go back to where you went wrong to correct that. sony made a big mistake to partner up to marvel. they never needed it. Exactly. Look at the money Venom is making. If Morbius is good, who can resist seeing Spidey taking on a vampire? Sony will only give up that possibility by charging Marvel squillions to loan Spidey. Indeed. As far I as I read Sony are only contractually bound to the Marvel deal for the next film "Far From Home". After that they can do as they please.
Seeing that they seem to have hit a creative gold mine with Venom (maked de facto teh same money as Homecoming including Ironman&MCU) and the new Spiderverse it is not out of question that they use and reinvent life action Spiderman for their Spiderverse and let Marvel go.
I am still hoping that we see a real Spiderman instead of a Spiderboy one day, especially in view of acting calibers like Hardy & Co.

And yet people don't hold no Oscar wins against Stanley Kubrick. Strange. Correct me if I am wrong, but Kubric won an Oscar for Special Visual Affects for his film, "2001: A Space Odyssey" back in 1969, right? correct, in 1969 deservedly.
But don't even fall for this uninformed nonsense. Kubrick was a person, not a movie. Whether he or anybody else won Oscars is completely irrelevant.

Not sure what makes this 'the most ambitious'' Dceu movie to date according to these reviewers. BvS was a lot more ambitious. Thought so too. I think they refer to the underwater world building and scope. BvS was essentially a character drama about clashing vigilante profiles in a gothic city but Aqua is aiming towards fantasy and sci fi elements with giant seahorses, talking squid and whatnot.
