Cool. What did you think? I thought it was fine but not as good as it could've been. 6/10 Same here. I was really enjoying it until the last like 7 minutes or so. I thought the ending was terrible. It left me thinking "Huh, thats it?" Its a shame because there was a lot I enjoyed. I was fully entertained and the traps were pretty gruesome. I was really liking the film up until the end. Plus I could easily tell who the killer was going to be. I was not at all surprised by that. I give it a 6.5 so we're about the same. I thought the movie ended too quickly and left me a bit unsatisfied too. Although I was probably too gullible but I didn't see the twist coming.

I always heard of it being pretty sadistic and the "funny" part would be mocking the audience or characters in the acts that ensue. To be honest, I don't exactly know what to expect from the films when I eventually go into them. I hear mixed things about the American remake. I had my whole family watch the movie just to see their reaction. My brother and my parents. Even my Aunt was there. My brother and my Dad loved what the movie does, my Mom and Aunt not so much. They both still found the majority of the movie effective though. Seems like not many women like this movie apparently...

I haven't seen either version, but wasn't it/them being creepy and disturbing the whole point? If so, what did you expect going into it? I have seen many thrillers and have enjoyed them. This one broke the rules. To be fair I did a bit of research on what the reactions were from the movie and most people say it's one of those all-time disturbing movies. You being given the movie not knowing about it would have impacted your shock from it a lot more than had you known about it sooner.

It is extremely intense and suspenseful, but there are many moments and even an entire scene that is winking at the audience. The movie is playing an emotional and mental game with the audience, hence the title "Funny Games." I always heard of it being pretty sadistic and the "funny" part would be mocking the audience or characters in the acts that ensue. Just got done watching the new one. It's alright but could've benefited from a longer runtime and I feel like it isn't as creative as it claimed to have been. Still, the traps are always nice and I thought Zeke was a decent character. If anyone is expecting it to be a satirical take with Rock and Jackson as the top billing cast members, they may be disappointed.

R2D2 is the OG. BB-8 is cuter but he's basically the same thing.

I woulda loved to have seen the Horror's Hallowed Grounds for 4-6. Didn't even realized those existed. I guess the smaller 10-disc set was for those who are cheaper and only care about having the movies regardless of alternate cuts, whereas the larger 15-disc set was for hardcore fans who wanted it all. Enjoy: Thanks! Imma watch these later.

The more expansive collection has the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 which has all the special features. I actually have the recent F13 set that came that had a similar setup as the bigger Halloween set, but I don't entirely regret not owning the Halloween one. I mean who cares about the TV cuts of the original two movies? And while I would like to have owned the Producer's Cut, I may not anymore since I watched that online and found it to be even weaker than the theatrical version, even if the latter made less sense. The separate cases are a nice touch though. True, true. But there were a lot of special features produced for 4-6 that weren't carried over from the larger set, and that's what I find a little odd. The interviews, documentaries, Horror's Halloween Grounds bit etc. are what I wish had carried over. I have the standalone Producer's Cut of H6 on blu-ray and the TV version of Halloween II via the Scream Factory steelbook, so I'm all set with those. The Halloween II TV cut only functions as a source of comedy.

Funny enough, the Blu-ray collection set that I have uses the original's 35th Anniversary disc. Then again, pretty much all of 1-5 and the Rob Zombie movies in that set use previously released discs. 2 and 3 are the standalone Scream Factory versions, 4 and 5 use the standalone Anchor Bay Blu-rays, and the Rob Zombie films use their original Blu-ray discs. 2-5 are understandable since both SF and AB were behind that set. 6-8 are the only ones with originally created discs. Here's the set I'm talking about BTW: I have that set too (I slept on the original, much more expansive collection when it came out) and I always found it a little curious that the H20 disc has all the newly produced special features while Halloween 6 has none. The more expansive collection has the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 which has all the special features. I haven't seen Fright Night 2, or any of the Fright Night movies yet for that matter, but I don't understand why it's so rare to get either and why it hasn't been re-released. I am not sure if I would get the Spanish import as I'm not sure if there is an English option for you to watch and the disc may not be compatible with the different region code. You're welcome for the heads up on Tubi and I think there will be a good amount of options for you to watch, and Tubi tends to be one of the lesser known streaming services since there isn't that much that is popular on there, even though there will be some popular movies on there every now and then. Oh. Okay. I thought you might have seen the first one or the remake but since you haven't I would recommend you watch the first one when you get a chance 'cause it is one of the most underrated Horror movies of the 80s in my opinion and a lot of my friends who have seen it liked it and the reboot/remake wasn't bad but wasn't as good as the original. It is strange the sequel is so hard to get 'cause the original has gone onto have quite a following and got a reboot and you would have thought then they would have made it easier to get 'cause they would have had more people wanting to check it out but it might have something to do with the company it is under or one of the things I have heard that has delayed a lot of movies and Shows being released, music rights. There was talk not long ago about a third movie being in development that would continue onto the original franchise instead of the reboot and bring back Charley and Amy and I found the article about it (below) and it will be really interesting if it gets made or not and might increase the chances of 'Fright Night 2' being released then since they would be able to release it as a trilogy. Yeah. There is a good amount of things on Tubi to watch and I noticed a lot of the movies are lesser known ones but I recognised quite a few titles and the music section has a lot of big Artists and Bands and even The Beatles and Frank Sinatra are on it. I will let you know what we think of Disney + next and we will get that on the weekend and it is only going to cost us $11.99 a month which is a lot cheaper than what we pay for Foxtel.
movieweb.com/fright-night-3-sequel-original-1985-movie/#:~:text=Charley%20and%20Amy%20will%20return,Fright%20Night%20creator%20Tom%20Holland. I have heard from some people how much they love the original Fright Night but I could never seem to come across it to watch it for some reason. I suppose different companies has to do with not releasing Fright Night 2, as well as some companies not willing to own the rights to that film to give it a proper home media release. I wonder if the third movie is still in the works and if it will ever happen, but judging from the article's date there hasn't been any more talks of it from what I heard.

It gets more enjoyable on repeated viewings, even if it's not one of my favourites in the MCU. I respect it a lot though and I love the 1940s setting.

Well there was this just a few years ago: I have these two, which I think have pretty cool covers: Funny enough, the Blu-ray collection set that I have uses the original's 35th Anniversary disc.
