Season 4 of "Disenchantment" on Netflix. Does this show get better? I’ve seen the first two seasons. I’m a huge Groening fan but this one never really won me over. All I can say is that I have mildly enjoyed the whole thing.

I don't really get the good Batman/bad Bruce complaint I've been seeing. The character we see in the movie is so consumed with vengeance and his nightly activities that there isn't a difference. If you want to see him bounce around being a playboy, we'll probably get there eventually - seems part of his arc - but the character isn't there yet by design. Because there's a duality between Batman and Bruce Wayne. If the guy is brooding and vengeful all the time then he's basically just playing Batman all the time. In other words, he never really played Bruce Wayne, just Batman without the mask. The whole reason why Batman is able to maintain his secret identity is because Bruce Wayne and Batman are very different. If they were extremely similar, then the concept of a secret identity flies out the window. That's why Michael Keaton is the best movie Batman. No one would think his Bruce Wayne was Batman.

I don't know if he did or he didn't and I also don't know the context of the comment. Whatever it was it is still just one person's opinion and Ms. Lilly did not echo that particular comment in her post so it is irrelevent. Looks like he definitely did do it, which he has since apologized for, and as I said, he was the speaker at the event that Lilly attended in question. www.reuters.com/world/us/robert-kennedy-jr-apologizes-holocaust-remarks-anti-vaxxer-rally-2022-01-25/To be clear, I’m not saying that Lilly should be fired by Disney or what have you, but since she happily admitted to having attended the event, I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people to criticize her for it. Again, I don’t think she should be fired, but I do think she made a dumb decision. It's never a dumb decision to peacefully stand up for what you believe in. It's how discussions get started and eventually informed decisons get made. Would you say she made a dumb decision if she attended a BLM protest or climate change rally where one of the main speakers made a very offensive comment (as often happens)?

There were thousands of people there. You can't paint everyone with the most extreme opinion that was uttered in the entire event. Some people at BLM protests say all cops should be killed, that doesn't mean everyone there feels that way or that everyone else's opinions are invalid. I get that, but didn’t the speaker at the event (Robert F. Kennedy) make that Holocaust comparison? I don't know if he did or he didn't and I also don't know the context of the comment. She made it perfectly clear in her post that she is not anti-vaccine and that she is only opposed to vaccine mandates, which was the whole point of the demonstration she was referring to. It's hard to have a rational discussion when people insist on mischaracterizing the opinions of others. The same demonstration that compared the vaccine mandate to the Holocaust?
