Colts have a good team and cap space left. He would make a great fit. But to see him in the windy city would be my greatest joy. I predicted it months ago. But alone that he is leaving.
I'm not against the Packers, but all against this front office. This degree of disrespect is quite similar to the one Tom suffered through Belichick.

Mac Jones seems like a Bill Belichick type of quarterback. A good pick imho. Bears slso got lucky and used their chance to get a potential franchise QB.

[/a][/quote] Rightly so...but he was fair enough to seal the deal before the draft, to be crystal clear on this matter. That's far more then the Packers did: Love instead of a wide receiver, the Field Goal, the broken word to trade him...they screwed him over and over again.

Shane has to sweat out whether the Packers are dumping Rodgers tonight. Is this like the Russell Wilson non-story? I seen a couple rumors earlier in the offseason, Rodgers to the Rams, Rodgers to the Niners. They had a shelf life of about 14 seconds.
Maybe he learned he's going to get the full time Jeopardy! job...
37 mill. dollar in dead cap space is a strong argument...on the other hand: if he really wants to leave...and is his absolutely entitled too...since they drafted Love.

Trey Lance? Isn't it usually the guys with the highest mythological ceilings like Mitch Trubisky? I think the 49ers are going Mac Jones, because Shanahan would rather wake up Friday morning to gameplan for him than a raw Trey Lance yes? Niner fans won't enjoy that until they win their 10th game. Broncos would probably grab Lance after that, not least they'd like to try a Mahomes-lite to battle Mahomes twice a year? I'm seeing Jimmy G, Patriots trending right now. Probably because they've given up hoping for one of the QB's to drop far enough. 3rd rounder & cash or something seems to be the target - which is fine I guess. Not sure how a team of Jimmy G & Cam operates though.I've not really looked at many mocks in a few weeks - the closer we get to the draft, the less reliable those actually seem to pan out, + why waste the energy when all will be revealed within the week. I like a mock draft right after the Super Bowl, right after free agency, & again once playoff picture gets filled in - to see who might fit where down the road. I do. They go 2-1 until Garoppolo gets hurt, then Cam comes in and they go 4-9 down the stretch. *hahaha How much can we offer, if the Bears don't want him?! On the other hand there are rumors that they trade for Jimmy. And there is the story about trading up for a QB...but Rodgers and Newton on the same bench...

It's Klopp... He does nothing but moan, whine, and blame everything but himself. Yeah, he should resign... Nagelsmann can stay in Leipzig, and Rangnick can be the new coach for the N11...everything comes together as it should be.

Let's say UEFA and FIFA aren't the good guys here...
I can live without the EC and WC, so why not without the CL? I won't watch the new format...then better a Super League.
The current format is the best compromise to give the Legia Warsaws their shot, and to fulfill the demands of the European Juggernauts - it's not the UEFA or FIFA who pays for the stadiums, youth academies, or the salaries of the players.
I'd rather given Spain, England and Co. six slots for the CL, but with five of them over a qualification route, and only the champions with a secured spot. So they the royals had their shot, and the Legia Warsaws had their shot, and only the performance on the pitch had made the difference. Yes, Arsenal and Co. are bigger, but why? Why is Barca or Manu more enticing than Legia Warsaw? Do you really want to see a group stage with three of such teams and only one big team that trashes the other ones in boring and pointless games. Ok, maybe here and there a meaningless up-set defeat after the group has been won already.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish added that Uefa should change the qualification criteria for the European competitions, which favours traditionally 'bigger' clubs. Speaking on BBC Breakfast today, he said: "We have been living with this for as long as I’ve been involved in football, this constant threat that if we all don’t tow the line, if we don’t accept that their position in football needs to be gilded, needs to be special, then they would go off and do this. Let’s face it, this was an attempted coup to try to steal football. "They still want to exert pressure on [Uefa president] Aleksander Ceferin. What Uefa need to do is start looking after the game and stop pandering to these people to keep them inside the tent because they are always going to be in the tent now, whatever happens. "The Ajaxs and the Legia Warsaws should not be playing qualification tournaments in the summer, when they have won their league, in favour of an Arsenal or a Tottenham, who leapfrogged an Aston Villa or Leicester because it’s ‘better’ to get those teams in the Champions League for one year’s television revenue." But the Legia Warsaws are shit, boring and bring nothing to the table. These clubs make the group stage the pale business as it is. And if you are really interested in the sport only, then you must be for Arsenal or Tottenham, because they are simply the better teams. Ajax Amsterdam is one thing (the reputation and tradition alone), but Legia Warsaw and Co.?! Ajax have earned the right to wear the badge of honor (three CL titles in a row, but they won more than these three titles), what has the dumpster fire Legia Warsaw to show for? Teams like Legia Warsaw justify a Super League for they are a burden to the sport. Being champions is not enough, if the league has not even the level of the fifth tier of the British football pyramid.

If they do this, UEFA and Co. can file for bankruptcy, and they'll will have established the Super League in the end by themselves. But this malicious spirit, as displayed here once more, is natural to Norwegians => Tyskerbarn. At least Norwegians never started two world wars that combined killed about 95 million people. and completely ruined a continent. Also most Norwegians who had a problem with "tyskerbarna" is dead by now. Nonetheless your demand goes overboard and would backfire big time.

The 12 teams should still be punished in my opinion. Even if they drop out from the super league. Bann all 12 teams from playing in Europe for 10 years. If they do this, UEFA and Co. can file for bankruptcy, and they'll will have established the Super League in the end by themselves. But this malicious spirit, as displayed here once more, is natural to Norwegians => Tyskerbarn.

It would be discrimination. The ruling is that they can't be excluded from other competitions. "Discrimination"?
These clubs must have some pretty good lawyers if they were able to make that stick!
I assume the law is with the 12 clubs of the Super League, and the UEFA could face a second blow up like back in the day when Bosman won his case in regard of freedom of movement for workers: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosman_rulingThey can't threat players to be excluded from the EC or WC because they choose to work for a Super League club. Even CAS and the WHO will have a say here, and it will be in favor of the Super League and against the monopoly of UEFA and FIFA, which acted themselves very shade in the past: => WC in Qatar and all the other prominent cases of corruption, what also justifies a breakaway from their club competitions. Also the domestic leagues have to bent to European laws and regulations. It is not their business to tell in which international competitions these clubs may or may not play (=> freedom of contracts and business). And small international club competitions have always existed. And what legal status allow UEFA and FIFA to launch these threats anyway?! They are neither sanctioned by democratic elections nor are they a legal bodies/entities of the United Nations (or European Union) or national government agency. They are private Nonprofit organizations without legal authority. Or it is time to clarify their legal status.

Make it right with 32 teams like the NFL with Conferences, or leave it. This is lukewarm bullshit, but the reform of the CL is also dreck, sorry for the wording, and either way: I'll be done with the CL or international European football, if they ruin the current format, which made the CL the brand (and money machine) it is today.
Swiss model my ass; 12er Super League my ass.
