Wow!
Tiafoe is being very verbally abusive to the ump right now for playing in the rain
Just lost a little bit of respect for him.....
** Edit - I get it must be frustrating and he's worried about injuries and such - but there's a way about going about things folks.....

'Bucks expected among teams to seriously pursue Monty Williams, sources say. Williams, who had $21M left on deal, is currently focusing on family in aftermath of ouster in Phoenix.'

As far as Jo-Jo for the #1 Pick - The lottery is pretty much here - May 16th Let's say for instance a team like the Mavs wins the lottery Can you imagine Luka with Embiid (who knows if Kyrie is back)? That team right there is a title contender! Mark Cuban would salivate at the thought of pairing Luka/Embiid Luka/Wemba for 'potential' or Luka/Embiid for titles for the next 3 years? It's a wild NBA today folks - anything can happen (point is pretty much moot anyway - we're winning the title this year)Welp It's begun. Just as I suspected What is the next step of 'The Process' Jason McIntyre (Colin Cowherd's sidekick) is highly entertaining. He's pondering the same question I had. If Jo-Jo did request a trade / or if we would dare trade Jo-Jo For Who? For the #1Pick to Draft Wemba - 5:50 of this dlip -

But I do not want to sit here defending loving my team and The Process (again) The Process is always an every year work in progress Yes - it is about winning multiple titles. We are in contention every year as one of the best teams in the league. It is working. Every year we are one of the best teams in the league. Enjoy your day

I guess this guy should have called it quits after like 12 or so years in the league - it was all over for him and the Broncos.... What a great comparison. Elway led the Broncos on three Super Bowl trips in his first seven seasons. That’s just like an NBA MVP who can’t get past the second round! 24 hours ago you were fantasizing about Embiid trade scenarios; now he hasn’t retired, it’s not over etc. You do understand that The Process doesn’t count as a success if Embiid wins a title on another team, right? The point is he didn't win his 1st title until like 13 years in the league It wasn't over for him or the Broncos Just like it isn't over for Jo-Jo and the Sixers..... ** Edit - I was not 'fantasizing about trading Jo-Jo. I was playing the what if game. What if Jo-Jo demanded a trade. What if the Sixers contemplated trading him. The Jazz got like 4 1st Round picks for Rudy Gobert and like 5 players (I'd have to double check on that). And the players the Sixers got back a trade would be part of 'The Process'. It's 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon

Jo-Jo had an injury that would take most players 4-6 weeks to heal
He was playing hurt
Even Doc stated after the game - 'I wish we could have Jo healthy just 1 time....'
But it is what it is.
1 team can win the title - this year wasn't ours

The same bullshit every year, like clockwork. The Process is about winning not just one, but multiple championships - until the Sixers inevitably fail in the playoffs. Then it’s just about “being in contention.” And is a team really in contention if they can’t get past the second round in what, six or seven attempts? They can’t even beat the best in their own conference, let alone the league. There are names for teams like that - regular season-suited paper tigers that fall short when it counts. Same as a bunch of other teams - only those other teams didn’t have to go through a miserable multi-year tank to get to that point. The Sixers are a joke. Oh I'm sorry I didn't know Jo-Jo retired and it was over

Dude, as much as I have to admire your optimism, the process is dead. Kawhi Leonard killed it back in 2019. The Sixers really chose Bench Simmons and Tobias Harris over Jimmy Butler. The Sixers chose Ben Simmons over Jimmy Butler and Markelle Fultz over Jayson Tatum. The Process = I'm not signaling you out. This is this the thought process of 99.9% of people who do not follow this team. It is Monday Morning Quarterbacking at it's finest. Both were the proper moves at the time. They were never going to draft Tatum. Fultz was the consensus #1 pick and if he came as advertised was exactly what they needed at the time. A Combo Guard to run next to Ben Butler - he was clashing with Brett Brown and being a disturbance (just like he was in Minnesota and Chicago - what a shocker!) actually staying in separate hotels from the team. The plan was to give Ben a bigger role. Try to get him to handle the ball more often and grow in the half court game as opposed to just being a magician in transition. Butler handled the ball more in the halfcourt game that playoff. Some felt keeping Butler was going to stunt his growth and he and Ben were butting heads. Both proper moves at the time. Monday Morning Quarterbacking. It's a situation in life - Damned if you do and Damned if you don't.....hindsight is 20/20. Both proper moves at the time And still after that - the year we let Butler walk? Still one of the best teams in the NBA with the best home record in the NBA This year? We were the best team in the NBA since mid December W/L wise We're always one of the best teams in the NBA. Every year.

Per ESPN - The only NBA MVP to never advance past the second round. He’ll be 30 this time next year; at that age, Shaq was winning his 3rd straight title and Finals MVP. But sure, he just needs help - none of this is his fault. He’s the “best player on the floor” in his words but it’s never his fault. Hey, he went all out to get that MVP award - the only tangible thing The Process ever netted. Hopefully you enjoyed watching him “wax poetic” in his presser; it was surely more enjoyable than watching him in the postseason. He's stated numerous times it starts with him, he takes accountability and he needs to do better Numerous upon numerous times. I've lost count of how many times. Again - this is just people creating their own agenda. The Process was and is successful. We are in the discussion for the title every year. Every year. The best teams in the NBA this year were arguably the Bucks, Celts, Sixers. Only 1 team can win the title. We were a couple of minutes and a couple of shots away from advancing in Game 6. No shame in losing to the Celts in a 7 game series on the road.

Lakers @ Nuggets 5/16 8:30pm
Heat @ Celts 5/17 8:30pm
Any matchup in the Finals should be fun to watch. Don't get people who state the Heat are boring - 'Playoff Jimmy' is a joy to watch. Can never count him or the Heat out. Curious to see how he plays vs. The Celts and if he puts them on his back again

76ers blew it in game 6. That was their chance to win the series and they blew it. They played like a team that knew they blew it in game 7. I hate to say it but that was kinda what I expected. A few minutes and a few made shots away Then we would have steamrolled our way to a Championship - homecourt vs. the Heat and Nuggets/Lakers But such is life There can only be 1 winner and the Sports Gods were not looking down on us this year Can't wait for next year

Fans that are sheep and just go along with illogical thinking
Sentiment from the masses that just because we keep it 'All In The Family' it automatically means it's going to fail.
I love this dolt below (it's pretty much 99.9% of people's feelings here).
This Goob contradicts himself so many times I lost count.
Have we had former players in Upper Management and as Head Coaches. Absolutely. Clarke, Holmgren, Barber, Hextall, Berube - the list goes on and on.
People become enraged blaming this mindset (keep it in house) for failure.
Then we hire outside of the family - Dave Hakstol, Chuck Fletcher, John Tortorella - and that fails too
So we just hired former Oragne & Black Legend Keith Jones as President and removed the interim tag from former Orange & Black Legend Danny Briere as GM - and that automatically means it's going to fail? Just because they're former Flyers? The mindset of Nimrods and Boobs.
Give a chance people
Good God -
