Lionsgate really sold us a movie using a single teaser from a scene in an elevator with almost no dialogue and those three talented actresses in character only looking at each other. My mind is blown. m.youtube.com/watch?v=YXL33tEUA3g

Now this is how you make a teaser. Charlize looks almost unrecognizable and i thought it was Elizabeth Banks!. How does Margo have the time to even film so many movies. It seems like she’s in a new one every other month which is a lot. Nicole Kidman is another reason of course to watch. I find myself replaying this teaser so much and the tension is very high.

Is it possible for someone to win an Oscar for a trailer? If so then Lionsgate has it in the bag

I really didn't know all that much about the actual events, so it kept my attention throughout. The only thing I didn't like very much was the prosthetics on Charlize Theron's and John Lithgow's faces. I find it very distracting. Not that it's not well done; it's just that I KNOW what Charlize Theron looks like, and it's not that. I think it's wrong to make changes to an actor's/actress face to make him or her look more like the real person they are playing. I draw the line at hair style and colour, or a fake belly in the case of Lithgow/Roger Ailes.

I know what you mean but it didnt bother me as much as it impressed me. will be (should be) nominated for sure, great work by Kazuhiro.

I actually never noticed anything; now that you mention the matter, I guess that that is part of why Theron looked so much like Megyn Kelly. Anyway, I too found the movie quite strong—a "good" film. I possessed some idea of the basics, but I found Bombshell very engrossing regardless—crisp and tonally consistent with fine performances, especially from Theron and Lithgow. In particular, Theron nailed Kelly's voice, Margot Robbie really delivers in her two most important scenes, and the film manages to be serious while also offering a zestful splash of humorous irony. And the movie effectively conveys not just the shame and humiliation resulting from Ailes' cavalier behavior, but also the internal conflicts and ambiguities on the part of the women—the mixed feelings, ambitions, and professional appreciation that enabled someone such as Ailes for so long.
