Back in the 1980s, there were tons of devices... Today, ONE Smart Phone does it all... And while ONE device may be easier to carry, and might actually does more that all the devices back in the day could do... Personally, I think they looks motionless bricks... You can't even see what functions it is performing without looking at a display screen... and sometimes, those tiny screens hardly display any information at all anyway... I miss the days of old with all the action... With lots of people carrying their impressive huge GhettoBoasters... And watching Cassette Tapes is action... Do you find Modern Technology boring too?

Yes, it is. Not just electronic devices. I hate how most cars and trucks look today.

Growing up in the late 80's early 90's, smartphones would have blown our balls off into outer space with being able to play games and watch videos on them. Back then we were limited on the TV channels we had, even when we had cable, and if you were really lucky, you could beg a family member to give you a ride to the rental store for a game or a movie.
By the time smartphones got here, I was kinda like "eh!" Maybe it's just as well that we relied on our imaginations and spent most of our summer vacations outside. There is a certain lost charm about just sitting at a table out on a sidewalk, listening to a little portable radio and shooting the breeze with friends.
