Sounds like another attempt by MCU fans to try to derail the DCEU, similar to all the " Wonder Woman is a complete mess" articles that were posted a few months before Wonder Woman was released. No, this is studio executives sharing their opinion on the first cut. God, you DCEU zealots will do anything to defend your precious DCEU.

But everyone knows this false rumor, just like the " Wonder Woman is a complete mess" false rumor from an "anonymous" source, was really started by MCU fans who are desperate to derail the DCEU.

if one were to find BvS unwatchable one might interpret this as acclaim.

See, that's what I'm saying there are too many varying reports, not saying we should ignore them, but they're inconsistent. Yeah tell me about it. Early in the year reports said JL was a mess too much humour. Now reports say Whedon reshoots specifically focus on adding more lighthearted scenes. Talk about contradictions. Even Zack spoke about the cliffhanger ending last year. They gotta get those clicks. Indeed. They're a little late with this posting though. I guess Simon was busy clean up his splooge from when he first heard the news.

And with how busy next year's gonna be, delaying the film to let Whedon patch everything up isn't exactly a great option either. I love watching a studio that just couldn't let these characters be themselves get their just desserts for trying to force them all to be Batman, by way of the Punisher. Why do you want DC to fail?

A good analogy would be the way you feel about somebody who doesn't work hard getting a promotion over you. The DC films are lazy. They have earned the ridicule they have received so far and deserve minimal reward for their lack of effort.

Because he's afraid that the DCEU will dominate the CBM genre for the next decade and MCU will become obsolete. It's a lot like how VHS made Betamax obsolete in the 1980s.

DC is already a more universally popular brand in society. Now he's afraid their films will be better than the MCU too.

I will believe Wonder Woman wasn't a fluke when I see it. Even if they do get their act, those first three wretched films will always hang over the franchise like a big storm cloud. I will never forgive them for allowing Snyder to ruin what could have been this generation's Superman.

Marvel seem to have all their eggs in one golden basket: the MCU, a giant bubble within an CBM bubble nobody really knows when it will burst. And what's after the big burst? They don't sell any comics anymore, the IP is fragmented, the shows are so so and part of the bubble, new ideas...lol. Who will sing Marvel song when everybody is too fed up with it to remember?

Say "Batman" same thing. Even Wonder Woman, Flash, or Aquaman. Before 2008, the only Marvel Characters you could do that with were "Spider-Man" and "Hulk" and even they weren't as popular as the D.C. Trinity.

Say Marvel to anybody right now and they'll buy into any character that's associated with it, even if they've never heard of them. Not true of DC. Keep clinging to the trinity though.

That's not true either. Go go ask my Grandparents (77, and 76) who is Iron Man? They won't know. Ask them who Superman is, they'll know. Not to mention D.C. Has better media exposure. You have the Lego Batman stuff, the animated series from the 90s, JL and JLU, the old 60s Batman, 50s Superman, 70s WW, the Superfriends, Teen Titans, video games (Arkham and Injustice) Cartoon Network Alone has D.C. Shows, then CW has the best Superhero TV shows, and D.C. Sells way more comics. All Marvel has is the MCU, and its kids-40 year old demographic. Anyone over 45 who isn't a nerd doesn't know much about Marvel, but they know D.C. Through DECADES of media.
