If the six members of the Justice League were on Titan when Thanos showed up would they have been able to put a stop to him?
Or would they have failed too?

Superman would have a real shot at it. The Flash would be huge too if he wasn't cowering in fear like they made him act in JL. That kind of speed could overwhelm Thanos before he could act.

If Superman wasn't there...no. They couldn't really even handle Steppenwolf and I would not put him in the same league as Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet.
But with Superman it would be very likely. Even just in general he'd give him a vast amount of trouble and if it came to it, he easily has the strength to pull off the glove.

He could have made Superman's cape Kryptonite.
Wonder Woman maybe could distract him but she wouldn't be able to do that and get the gauntlet off.

If the six members of the Justice League were on Titan when Thanos showed up would they have been able to put a stop to him? Or would they have failed too? I think the Avengers had one real advantage and that's that they had greater numbers and were attacking from all different locations at different times, Titan, Wakanda, etc.
I think that Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash might have a real chance of doing something. Maybe even Green Lantern. If they all worked together.
But overall, no, I think they would have the same chance that the Avengers had. After all the Infinity Gauntlet is the most powerful thing ever.

Actually, the Justice League have a huge advantage that the Avengers never had. The Justice League have 2 guys who can move at near light speed. Thanos would be moving in slow motion compared to them. Superman could remove the gauntlet from Thanos' hand before Thanos could even snap his fingers.

If Superman was there then yes, they probably good. Without Superman the JL gets destroyed faster than IM and co.

Not only strength. Superman has the speed to pull off the gauntlet before Thanos could even snap his fingers. He doesn't need to snap his fingers. Just make a fist. Snapping his fingers was just an ultimate visual. And Superman can still pull off the gauntlet before Thanos can make a fist. With Superman's superspeed, Thanos would basically be moving in slow motion.

DRAX DURABILITY-7-Virtually indestructible ENERGY-2=Ability to discharge energy on contact FIGHTING-6=Master of several forms of combat INTELLIGENCE-1=Below average SPEED-4=Speed of sound: peak velocity between Mach-1 to Mach-2 STRENGTH-6=Superhuman: Able to lift over 75 tons, up to 100 tons
Dr Strange DURABILITY-6=Superhuman ENERGY-7=Virtually unlimited command of all forms of energy FIGHTING-7=Master of virtually all conventional forms of combat INTELLIGENCE-4=Gifted SPEED-5=Supersonic: peak velocity between Mach-2 to Orbital Velocity approximately 17,000 mph) STRENGTH-3=Peak human: able to lift over twice own body weight, up to 8
Ironman durability-6=Superhuman energy-6=Able to discharge multiple forms of energy fighting-3=Some training intelligence-6=Super-Genius speed-5=Supersonic: peak velocity between Mach-2 to Orbital Velocity approximately 17,000 mph) strength-6=Superhuman: Able to lift over 75 tons, up to 100 tons
So they had some speed to their side. Didnt matter

With Superman's superspeed, Thanos would basically be moving in slow motion. You are assuming that Superman would know how he activates it. People that want DC characters to win always try to make the DC characters to be all-knowing. Was the same way on Screen Junkies on their Do You Bleed video with Batman v Avengers (They gave Batfleck so many weapons that he has never used. Fear toxin? Really?). Superman will already be down before he knows it. You really think Superman is fast enough for the reality stone? And if we are talking about the scene on Titan. There is no yellow sun so Superman's powers are either gone or depleted.

JL would have faired a better chance just between Superman & Flash whilst Supes maybe able to get the glove off of Thanos he'd be more than a prime target Thanos would focus on, which is where Flash comes in Flash is fast enough given a millisecond opening he could run in grab the gauntlet and phase it off of Thanos's hand leaving the mad Titan to survive on his natural power alone, and in that scenario I think Sup's is more than enough to beat the purple menace into a jam like substance.
add to that Cyborg & Wonder Woman for kicks and Thanos is getting the shit kicked out of him easily.
As strong as the Avengers can be they don't have a speedster who can do things no one can really prepare for, even Strange's magic cant do the things Flash can do, plus even if they lose stone or not Flash can go back and try again over and over, once the Avengers handed over the time stone they were fucked.

Their speed is still "slow-motion" compared to Superman's speed.

Thanos' power is adjustable to the people he fights, so if he were fighting Justice League, he would be as string as Superman, Winder Woman, etc... He would teleport more or be as fast as the Flash or use on of the Stones in a different way.
If here fighting Batman, his power would be reduced enough to be affected by Batarangs and gas bombs.
If Thanos became all powerful, he shouldn't even be involving himself in melee combat.
He should be light years away giving people heart attacks simply by sticking his tongue out.
This is the dude that beat up the Hulk, but apparent could get stabbed by what looked like a modified butter knife.
