Hell no. Even with just the power gem Thanos would have taken out DD.

If Thanos takes him out quick and not play around with him, yes. But if he allows Doomsday to keep leveling up, then it will be a long fight.

If he didn't have the Infinity Gauntlet then easily.

If he didn't have the Infinity Gauntlet then easily. Agreed. He took down Darkseid even after being hit by his Omega beams.

Superman would have frozen Thanos’ hand and then kicked the shit out of him.

Superman would have frozen Thanos’ hand and then kicked the shit out of him. I hope we get to see him use more of his powers if/when he finally comes up against Darkseid.

it would be one hell of a nice fight, but no. The Infinity Gauntlet is the most powerful thing there is. And even without the gauntlet I give Thanos one great advantage... intelligence. Sooner or later he'd think of a way to defeat him.

Superman would have frozen Thanos’ hand and then kicked the shit out of him. Yep. Superman could freeze Thanos' hand. Thanos can't snap his fingers if his hand is frozen.

Kind of a trick question, because if Doomsday never existed, Marvel couldn't have ripped him off to create Thanos.
