Every year I attend a science fiction marathon that prides itself on showing movies from every decade. This is one of my favorite '50s science fiction films and I own it on DVD.

Them! is the best giant insect movie ever made. I would go so far as to call it a masterpiece of SF/horror.

When I got Them! it came in a 4 pack at Walmart with three other movies in the same genre. One of them might be The Deadly Mantis.

Top-notch 50s sci-fi, I have a special place in my heart for all the giant bug movies of that era, not to mention the Ray Harryhausen epics such as Beast From 20,000 Fathoms.

One of the best! Much better than The Deadly Mantis (which I like). Them! is a true classic with a super cast and great writing.

Them! 1954, on of the best of the giant insects and spiders movies, and very well directed. One of the Ants hanging out to dry:

On the old imdb boards, I often posted how awesome this film was, and still is. It's in my all time top 10 films of all time, and number one on my science fiction list.
One thing to note. It's best seen without knowing what it's about. I first saw it as a kid, not knowing it was sci-fi, and was following it as a police story, and the way it turned is just awesome. I suggest not letting a guest know what it's about before you show it to the guest, if it's possible the guest doesn't know.
THEM 10/10
