Give him Justice League 2 or Man of Steel 2 I think they should give him something that hasn't been handled yet. An Etrigan movie? Martian Manhunter? Hawkman and Hawkgirl could be epic. Legion of Superheroes. I was thinking Etrigan too... But that's a hard sell for a major movie. Hawkman and Hawkgirl seems reasonable. Booster Gold is not out of the question either...

Somewhere up where Lord of the Rings lives. And sell it as such; instead of like the typical comic book movie. I picture it as a n Arthurian movie. None of it in modern times. Maybe have him show up in someone else movie in modern times. Or in a Justice League Dark movie set in modern day.

I think Etrigan (and the rest of the Justice League Dark roster for that matter) ought to be handled by directors that specialize in horror. Like Mike Flanagan or Alex Garland.

Jackson was no slouch with the horror movies back in his day.

don't bother being challenged by quality movies, I guess? You consider Marvel movies challenging? I do not consider Marvel films quality movies. You do, ergo, you are challenged.
Check mate, dude. Try to syntax yourself out of this.

That's what I see too. Ultimately, as odd as this may seem, his tone with "The Frighteners" might work really well. I know Etrigan is a darker character, but you can keep him dark while having Jason Blood be a haunted character like Michael J Fox was in The Frighteners. The problem is that if you just go by basic outlines, he's a medieval Hulk, and the general movie goer will make that connection and it might hurt the marketability. Then if you decide to leave the original movie on a cliff hanger of him in modern times, you end up with a Captain America parallel.

But these are the only films you know I've discussed, so what else would you mean?

Make it like he's changing without his knowledge. With that I'm getting the feeling of the Venom trailer.
Like I said before, the spell being used to change. That could make the major difference in him not being like the Hulk. Unlike Beast in the X-men movies.
That's why I was thinking not making any of it in modern times. Just have him show up in another character's/ team's movie in modern day.

According to theonering.net he may be choosing between that LOTR show and a DC movie. But the LOTR show needs his involvement far more than DC movies do. People won't accept a reboot so it's the only way. I don't like what he did all in all, but it's the truth.

Well at the moment, he says he's not involved in anything DC related.
