By that, I mean people which did a huge number of guest roles in seemingly every show on the air....well, not literally, but I think you know the kind of person I mean.
Two of my favourite professional guest stars are Burt Mustin and Mary Wickes. If Mustin's name is not familiar, his face sure is.....he played an old guy in seemingly every show of the 1960s/1970s.
Does anyone else on here have any favourites they'd wish to name?

Good topic. I definitely remember Burt Mustin; mostly as Gus the fireman from Leave it to Beaver. So many possibilities here, so I’ll just name the first to come to mind. Claude Akins, for some reason, reminded me of James Best, who guessed starred in many tv series of the 1960’s and 70’s. Bradford Dillman had quite an active career starring in many tv series of the day (Perhaps not a household name, but you would recognize him). And I’m sure that there is no one here that is old enough to remember television from this time frame, that wouldn’t recognize Pamelyn Ferdin; if not by name, but by appearance.
Bradford Dillman
